Pros: up front about costing per service, client intake form to note financials goals, female owned company, she has a team to help on follow ups and answer questions Cons: cost to value is imbalanced, ignored our intake form, condescending attitude when explaining/answering questions, lack of customer service and empathy Making the investment into a financial planner is a big deal for me and I wish I would have taken more time to assess my level of comfort with Jackie. We got our financial plan only to find that our #1 goal noted on our sheet was not taken into consideration and when we asked about it, the answer was defensive even though I didn't bring it up as an attack. Countless times she responds with "well, that's what you provided to us" in questions where we were just asking for more clarity. It felt like she didn't have patience for certain things being question and after a certain point, I just shut down and stopped asking the questions I had because it felt like I was being blamed. I will also say that the financial assessment meeting is not long enough to feel empowered to understand and know how to manage your finances. Your data is saved on their dashboard and there is zero overview about how to use the dashboard or maintain your information. I regret the money I spent here and recommend you look elsewhere if you're looking for someone to partner with vs. someone to talk down to you. It seems like the demographic that works best with this company is if you are white, live in a home in San Diego that's over $1M, and have a solid foundation of finances - perhaps you'll be catered to more. read more

I feel so lucky to have found Jackie! I had no idea that there was such a difference in financial planners, but I've learned that many of them make recommendations for their clients based upon commissions that they will be paid - not what's best for the client. Not Jackie though. She's independent and doesn't make her money from commissions. You pay her for her counsel - she's working for you. This really makes all the difference in the world. She's YOUR advocate and has your best interest in mind.
