Absolutely one and the best decision my husband and I ever made was choosing the Guidepost Montessori school for our daughter's (Debi) education!while the first few months were very challenging, the school more than makes up for it with curriculum, staff and education experience. The Guidepost program operates true to Maria Montessori's principles and is delivered by one of the most dedicated faculty staff. Debi Started in the children's house classroom-3 (lead guide Miss Amina) at the age of 4, and was gently and carefully introduced into the class. Personal attention was given to her during that time of transition, while her highly trained and experienced teacher Miss Amina quickly gained a sense of her most subtle qualities. Debi was introduced to the excellent Montessori lessons one after another in a very personalized way , based on her interest , strengths and potential. We immediately noticed the attentiveness, personalization, and incredibly caring nature of Miss Amina, devoted to the progress of our child. One and half years later , we continue to be amazed. Miss Amina continues to allow us to be involved with her development through emails and intermittent one-on-one meetings, with ideas of reinforce her lessons and education at home. Here we would like to Mention that we are so grateful to Guidepost that Debi got Miss Amina as her mentor. She is an wonderful person with great passion and has expert communication and superior listening skill, we just love her. She has deep knowledge for the subject matter and also has the ability to build caring relationship with the students , she respects a child's unique learning needs and have an interest and respect for her students. Debi has loved going to this school and misses it so much during weekends and vacation days! She has impressively started to read full sentences and simple books at 4 years of age and loves simple addition. Before my daughter joined Guidepost Montessori, I did not know difference between daycare and Montessori. I enrolled my daughter in Guidepost Montessori 2 years ago at Guidepost Montessori (TIMBER RIDGE- FRISCO). I came to know the philosophy of this Montessori as the teachers educated me along the way about the mission of this Montessori. This Montessori not only raises children, they actually educate children in a certain way to make them independent and smart. My daughter was potty trained in less than week when she was 2 years old with help of Ms. Hua. Teachers of this school are very hard working. Teacher to student ratio is less than the other schools/ Montessori (which is a big plus as teacher can focus better on each and every child). My daughter is in Ms Amina's class now. Ms Amina is amazing at what she is doing. I am surprised that my daughter never cried to go to Montessori after she joined her class. When she comes home, she talks about Ms Amina and Ms Chitra all the time. Also, she tells me what she learned in the class. Extended care teacher Ms Madhavi and other teachers are also caring and loving. Ms Amina is very caring and loving. Ms Amina always welcomes children with great smile and open arms. She always keeps the parents in loop about children's progress, hindrance in progress, or any other issues. She also pointed out small mistakes we were making in raising our daughter such as creating positive environment; satisfy her curiosity in knowing things etc. I am very glad that Ms Amina is my daughter's teacher. I cannot be more happier that I chose to enroll my 4 year old son in this school last August after having him in another day care for almost 3 years. School campus is always clean and the staff is very friendly. His lead class teacher is Ms. Amina and she brings in a lot of experience working with the montessori aged kids and is a certified montessori teacher. He had grown tremendously in this last one year both intellectually and socially. He is able to write cursive letters, 1 to 100 numbers, knows all the continents, sounds to name a few. I love how Ms. Amina and Ms. Chitra introduce new vocabulary by teaching them songs(for example: Michael Jackson's heal the world). Together, they nurture him in the right way. He gets to do lot of activities and looks forward for the next day. Finding a right school is important, but finding a right teacher is all it takes for your kid to grow and flourish. And I'm glad I found this gem of a school and not to mention the teachers. read more

I knew Guidepost was the school for our daughter since day one. We were on the waiting list for a long time. When we got the call saying there was a spot open I was so relieved. Our daughter has been with Guidepost since she was six months old. The lead Guide in the Nido classroom knew our daughter's schedule and helped prepare her for the next stage of her class. We started out with a short visits before leaving our daughter all day to help our daughter with the transition. Our daughter is now in the toddler class and at only 26 months is potty trained and talking in sentences. We did the virtual classes during lockdown and were very pleased with the lessons but with our jobs we needed all day in-class childcare. All my fear and anxiety about returning to school went away after the first week because of the diligence of the staff and head Guide. read more

Her current lead class teacher Ms. Preeti is the most lovable person and brings in 15 + years of certified Montessori experience..she is everything we can expect from a teacher..ability to handle all tiny active personalities , incorporates team work where ever possible ..she teaches yoga in their circle time which my daughter loves and shows off her skills in a cute way ! My son has been attending this school for the past three and a half years, since the age of two. We will miss going here once he starts kindergarten. I can't say enough good things about this school! From the moment he started there, he felt taken care of and loved. And not only that, he has learned so much! I'm continually amazed with the new knowledge he receives every day! This school is really great and our kid loves the school. The school gives our kid a lot of opportunities to learn and practice new things such as mopping, cleaning glass, gluing, etc., and he shows at home what he did at school.
