I've never seen an environment where so many children of all ages love one another so much. The older kids look out for the younger ones and set an example that is exemplary. They put emphasis on the process of a task over just completing it, so our daughter feels pride doing the steps that lead to the completion of the task just as much as feeling the joy of finishing something. I love that our daughter will have the same teachers for multiple years, I feel this will be invaluable to her growth because they know her and know what her capabilities are. The Director, Mrs. Stowasser, is absolutely amazing!!! Whenever I have a question or an issue, she's extremely responsive and very open to having conversations. Mrs. Stowasser herself has gone far above and beyond for my child many times and my husband and I couldn't be more grateful to her, as well. In our experience, each classroom my son has been in has had structure and a heavy emphasis on learning. When I chose this school, it was important to me that my child would learn - but also have fun, play with friends, and feel loved and safe during his time there. It's obvious that continuous education is important, as the teachers are often attending trainings and development days to further their knowledge to be applied with the children. This is my second tIme writing a review for this daycare/preschool. My original review was made shortly after my daughter was removed, I removed it because I didn't feel it was fair. I will start with the positives, once the children leave the infant room the school is highly focused on routines & learning (could also be a negative). When my daughter started at her new preschool that has accredited teachers & nationwide locations, I was told that she was too advanced for the younger 2's & would need to be moved up should I choose to stay. My daughter loved being dropped of when she waS in the infant room, Ms. Luz was the highlight of her day. We had behavioral issues shortly after being moved to the 1's room with my daughter, which I believe was due to the strict routines which in most cases helps children, but not always. One teacher absolutely loved her, while the older teacher constantly had issues. When she was 1 & a half she was moved to the 2's as a solution to her behavior. Within a short period of time I started receiving calls to pick her up because "they didn't have the resources to deal with hEr". I'll add that I live near by & pass everyday to drop my older child at school, they are constantly hiring. The calls started happening weekly, I couldn't keep leaving work because she was over tired & having a melt down instead just letting tHe kid lay down 30 minutes before schedule. I went to pick her up one day & she was left in the foyer area between the 2 rooms, crying since they called (45 mins) another time she was left in the high chair. At this point I was honest & advised Fiona that I may need to remove her & asked what would be ample notice for the school? She indicated 2 weeks. Within a couple of weeks I started getting calls every other day. The 2nd week she called me at work & said I needed to pick her up indefinitely. So I had already paid, because they require you to pay a head & I was given no notice that I no longer had child care. I just felt that a business with that many years experience should handle things better. It's not a bad school, my daughter was kept alive, very few incidents of getting hurt & as I stated early she is advanced fOr her age.

The outdoor space is huge and they take all the kids out atleast once a day. Fiona is very attentive and it is visible that she loves her job. It has been a completely different experience at Kindercare. The teachers and administrators are sweet and caring. The rooms are kept clean, even the changing table have paper sheets like at the doctors office so they can make sure they are clean for each kid. They are constantly practicing hand washing. I know it is normal for kids to get sick some when they first start going to daycare and my daughter has occasionally been sick but it is less frequent than it was before. And there have been times other kids in the class have been diagnosed with the flu but my child and the others did not get it so to me that shows they are doing an excellent job at cleaning and preventing the spread. The teachers are in the class room constantly supervising the kids so my daughter has had less injuries and accidents than she had at the previous daycare as well. They have been working on potty training with her now and they go out of their way to work together with us. I was worried when she first started potty training about sending her to school in panties because I didn't want to make more work for them if she had accidents and they reassured me that they wanted to help and were glad to do whatever it takes to get her potty trained. They feed the kids healthy meals and snacks, not the typical school food, they eat yogurt and fruit and..something I didn't even know my daughter liked..hummus and pita. The craft projects that they do are so cute as well. I would highly recommend this daycare and when I need to send her little brother we will be sending him here as well
