My daughter and son started at O2B right around the time they first opened. Both of them are loved beyond measure there. Every teacher in the school deserves a trophy for keeping up with these kiddos! From the front desk to the classrooms, to the end of the day check out, everyone is always super friendly and makes sure that your kids are heard and seen! Ciara is wonderful in the morning. She's so sweet and always makes sure to say good morning or hello to each of my kids and me. Mrs. Gloria is a wonderful teacher! I'm blessed that my daughter has a teacher like Mrs. Gloria! She has excelled in Mrs. Gloria's class and even though she doesn't need to know the material, Mrs. Gloria is teaching her slowly materials she will need for VPK. Mrs. Gloria is also wonderful with my son! I'm glad he's going to her class soon! Mrs. Christie holds the fort down in the sophomore class. She's so sweet with all of the kiddos. I thank god she has a sidekick like Mrs. Sam! Mrs. Sam is a rockstar. She keeps my son in line on his not so easy days. Every day that my kids are there, I don't think there is one teacher that doesn't get a hello or a hug from my kids. From Mrs. Aimee to Ms. Olga, to Mrs. Sasha and Ms. Marufa! We love them all. They are the glue that keeps O2B held together! Thank you all for being so wonderfully you! In the evenings, Mrs. Latoria is so wonderful. Nice and easy check out process and she always does it with a smile! Mr. Oscar helps with the buses/transportation and every opportunity he gets, even in the parking lot, he gets a high-five or a fist bump from all of my kids! That truly makes their evening! I want to thank Mrs. Syeda and Mrs. Lauren. Mrs. Syeda for always informing me of how my son is doing and for letting me know what they are doing at school to help him and how I can help him at home if I wish. It keeps the process the same both at home and school. Mrs. Lauren for always HEARING me. I know I'm a hard parent when it comes to my kids. Like any mom, I want what's best for them and know what's best for them. Thank you to the entire team at O2B. This only scratches the surface of the amazing staff and teachers behind O2B in Avalon. Janelle is the Lead here and I could see her as a District Lead training others how to lead a school into community and family success. You can tell that she gets what family is and how it can feel to leave your child with someone for the first time. Caring. Very encouraging and safe space here. She speaks to everyone's family member and child EVERYDAY as they enter and leave. She treats everyone equally great. She uplifts everyone's spirit with a small and positive tone. My son wants to go back to school even on Thanksgiving and Christmas break. He cannot get enough and begs to go back to school. He is a shy child but feels safe here because of the welcoming environment. And my family is glad to have him at O2B Kids Avalon Park. Janelle is extremely professional. As an aftercare-only family, I am extremely pleased with the care my son receives at O2B Kids Avalon Park (O2B)! From the welcoming environment created by the amazing team, to the fun he has on a daily basis, he loves it there and we feel blessed to be part of the O2B family. O2B Avalon Is amazing! Ms Janelle and her staff are fantastic! My daughter loves Ms Lilian, she is absolutely fantastic teacher! They create a warm and welcoming environment, they make you feel like family, and they are truly invested in my daughter's well-being. The communication with parents is excellent - I appreciate the regular updates and the openness to address any concerns. There are no cameras in the school that allows you to see your child playing, however, throughout the day, I am sent pictures of my daughter doing various activities and with those I can see that she is happy and engaged. The facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. I feel confident leaving my child in their care, knowing she are in good hands. I was overjoyed to discover this school opening near my home just in time for my daughter to begin VPK. The school provides a stimulating and educational environment that my daughter adores. In a short period, she has made significant strides in learning, particularly in improving her speech. Every morning, she eagerly anticipates going to school to see her friends and, of course, her teacher. Ms. Stacey has been incredibly supportive and patient with my daughter. My son love love loves going to school, especially his teacher Ms. Hunsha. My son has ASD and before starting school wasn't interacting well with other kids. Now he has friends, he has a set routine, is communicating well and is actually interested in learning. He has improved soo much socially and academically since starting class with Ms. Hunsha. He used to have a hard time with small independent tasks for example like taking medicine or washing his hands but now he says it takes away the "germs" and doesn't give me a hard time, he even counts to 20 when washing his hands. Such a great experience here! our daughter attended pre school and now is in VPK with Ms Sheila and Ms Dora. These teachers somehow manage to teach her a million things every day! She learns compassion, team work, science, art, reading, writing, learning how to stay focused and also regulate emotions all in the course of a regular day. Ms Lauren, Ms Janelle and Ms Latoria from the office manage to keep us all on track and provide a safe space and welcoming environment always. O2B Kids Avalon Park is a one of its kind school. Clean, beautiful, engaging and looks like so much fun. I toured on Friday and the Director was so wonderful. The way she spoke about every classroom and the school as a whole, with so much joy and explained every aspect of what Summer Camp is going to look like made the tour come alive. I appreciated the fact that she broke down summer week by week and explained the themes and tentative field trips.
