Ms. Hunsha has introduced so many cultures and ways of the world to every single student, which will surely benefit them as they continue their development. She is helping to cultivate acceptance, inclusion and positivity amongst the entire class. My husband and I also love the way that she nurtures each child and meets them where they are individually. Our soon to be 5 year old loves science and quite often gets to engage in fun and educational science experiments, tapping into an area of learning girls can sometimes be excluded from. Our daughter was already reading when she started VPK but, together, with Ms Hunsha we have see her reading level increase to that of a second grader. And to further reinforce what she is learning, Ms. Hunsha has her read to her classmates. That action alone is building confidence, how to present in front of others and a host of other important and necessary skills for a well rounded child and adult. Ms Hunsha creates an environment that is welcoming, enjoyable, curious and safe for students. She commands respect with a loving hand and they all absolutely adore her. Happy to report this place was a blessing to our family, we experienced nothing but the best service and our son was treated with respect and love. He enjoyed going to school and we saw a beautiful shift in his behavior and development after just one week of going to this school. The staff has been here for many years and that's something I loved as many places I visited before making my decision had new members or people that weren't as qualified. This place ran like a well oiled machine and we never once had a covid scare while attending this school. They run a tight ship and do it well. Only reason we pulled our son out of this school is because we are moving a few hours away otherwise we would have kept him here until he grew out of it. While we had a positive view of the teaching staff, the front office and administration operate with a "profit-over-students" mentality that is deeply unprofessional. Following our withdrawal, the school has intentionally withheld my son's academic progress reports and evaluations to use as collateral for a billing dispute. They are attempting to charge for tuition during a month in which my child did not attend a single day and are using his records to hold his future education hostage. Beyond the billing issues, I find the Parent Handbook rules to be overreaching and abusive. Most alarmingly, the handbook explicitly states that they can change any rule at any time without notice, leaving families with zero stability or protection. This level of obstruction has forced us to involve the Florida Department of Education and Step Up For Students compliance offices. If you want a school that values its families and acts with integrity during difficult transitions, look elsewhere. This is not a supportive or transparent educational environment.

Owning my own business, just out of integrity I would've at the very minimum have a response to keep the client long term. The day that I got there I should've known, I was taking the tour and overheard a conversation between the Director and a very upset client about treatment of their daughter by the teachers, the director's response wasnt very pleasant and I shouldve gone with my gut, but now I'm here trying to get at least a response from someone. They offer classes from infants to kindergarten. Children learn academics, language, science, dramatic play, art, and much more. The food is carefully selected and healthy. The staff has given me updates on how my daughter is adjusting daily. You can tell a good place when all the children are happy and shining. She has been with a Primrose school for over a year now and has really opened up academically and socially too. We are very discerning parents when it comes to my daughter. It is clear how much each of the students really loves Yuliya and that they feel safe and supported in her care. Yuliya is also wonderful at communicating with parents. I love the fact that I don't have to go through an app to receive updates. Every day Yuliya texts a few photos and a sentence or two on how the morning went and then takes time to share how the afternoon went during pick up. It all feels very personal. Yuliya is such a thoughtful caregiver and I love her methods of teaching. All of the activities are hands on and often focus on the natural world. She also has a deep passion for books which she helps instill in her students. Yuliya's weekly plans are the perfect combination of structure and free play. Enough structure that the kids understand what the overall schedule is each day, what the theme is for the week, and that for instance Tuesday is playdough day, Wednesday is baking day, and Friday's activity will be for watercolor. But within that structure, Yuliya allows the children to be creative and think independently. She also understands the importance of children playing outside. I wasn't able to find a single school that scheduled more time for outside play than The Ways We Grow. Overall, I have nothing but love and appreciation for Yuliya and The Ways We Grow.
