I also recently applied to become a real estate CE instructor, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of accessibility and hands-on assistance. I walked in without an appointment and was helped immediately, which speaks volumes about their commitment to service. That said, my most recent experience while assisting a client presented a different perspective. My client was attempting to address ongoing concerns involving an HOA, and we were initially advised to thoroughly document applicable laws, including specific NRS statutes, along with supporting evidence of any violations and provide it to the Ombundsman. We followed that guidance carefully and returned with a comprehensive and well-prepared submission. However, upon our follow-up, we were given different and somewhat conflicting direction, ultimately being advised that pursuing the matter would likely require private legal counsel. While I fully understand that certain matters may fall outside the Division's scope and the Office of the Ombindsman, the shift in guidance created some confusion and uncertainty for my client, especially after significant effort was made to comply with the original instructions. Overall, I continue to respect the Division and appreciate the positive experiences I've had personally. At the same time, I hope there can be greater consistency in guidance provided to the public, particularly in more complex situations, as clarity is essential for both professionals and the clients we serve.

It was very pleasant and I felt very welcomed. There were stanchions that formed a line, but no one was in it but people at the desk. When it was my turn, the receptionist was very warm and prompt. She asked me how they could help and then asked me to have a seat in the waiting area. My wait time was very brief. Maybe about five minutes or so. The lady who called my name is also very friendly and professional. I was taking care of my real estate license and she was able to take care of it very efficiently and swiftly. While waiting, I noticed the cute spring decor from the ceiling. I thought it was a nice touch. The area is a little dated but clean and roomy. Forms of payments: they take all forms of payment except American Express and Apple Pay. But that's OK because I had my VISA debit card. My total today was only $20. I also met with a staff member Karina there who was extremely helpful and friendly. I just wanted to recognize their professionalism and service at this department and staff! And I was in and out. They approved us and then told my wife that the move in date would have to happen sooner than the two weeks. Since they reneged on their word, my wife sent them an email and had phone conversation w/ the broker calling them out about the two weeks and demanding a refund on the application. The broker admitted on the phone about the two weeks, then in the email they side stepped about the two weeks and said we weren't getting our application fee back. Agent Mihaela and broker Deirdre don't have integrity with their words. There's no reason to trust those two and do business with them.
