Pleasantly surprised! I thought the food was amazing! The best part was the kinder chocolate cheesecake. Very light. Very kinder chocolate. I loved it. The fried mozzarella was really good. I was surprised it was a cold appetizer but I liked it. The nachos were just ok. The defiant burger was to die for also.

My friend loves Nutella pizza so when she saw this place had it we knew we wanted to go! They said they require reservations, but we were able to make them easily online and I think it came with a discount code too for our meal. The food is a little pricier compared to other restaurants in Lisbon but it was delicious! I got a carbonara pasta and bread with garlic butter and cheese. Delicious! My friend liked her Nutella pizza but it did have white chocolate shavings and sliced strawberries which she didn't care for. That's okay because I was able to eat that part for her which it was delicious, the strawberries taste so fresh! It was conveniently located close to the Vasco da Gama shopping center and the bus station so you can't miss it!

Got stuck in Lisbon needed to eat. Had anchors that were not heated enough to melt what appeared to be velvetta cheese. Salad with shrimp was kind of fishy and the Berger was just ok. Beer was cold

    Burger! Delicious.

The starter, burger, and desert my wife shared was all delicious. Great service and drinks were also tasty. Watching The soccer game made for an eventful night out

I have very mixed emotions about this place. Upon walking in, the host was incredibly rude about us not having a reservation, even though there was nobody at the restaurant. He slapped our menus down and didn't look at us when he finally did seat us. We almost left the restaurant because he was so rude, but we were so hungry and not much was open in the area, so we decided to give it a try. We were told we had to hurry and eat because a reservation would need the table, but a server didn't even come to check on us for over 20 minutes. When he finally did come over though, he was fantastic. One of the best servers I've ever had. He was kind, attentive, and listened carefully to everything we said. He got our orders correct and the food came out quickly. All of the food was delicious. It was definitely overpriced, but my friends and I agreed it was one of the best burgers we've had in a while. Leaving and paying became an issue at the end though. Our server didn't come by often because he was so busy, but he told us he was unable to split the check and to speak to the cashier. We did what he said, and we were charged double of what we ordered, and when we told the cashier, he ignored us and wanted us to pay. After waiting 10 minutes, we finally found someone to help us pay, and she was so fantastic and patient. Half of the employees here are super nice, and the other half don't even want to give you the time of day. I probably wouldn't come back here because of the service. The food was pretty delicious though. There are definitely better restaurants in the area with less rude employees though.

Great, modern atmosphere... good pizza... but wow -- the prices! When I stopped in this spot, I was expecting some good food, which I got... but I wasn't expecting the level of pricing for simple wood-fired oven pizza. Overall, service was attentive and the menu (which was primarily comprised of salads, pizza and pasta items, as well as wagu beef hamburgers) was comprehensive casual food. However, for me at least, the pricing was more like London vs. Lisbon... The pizza I had was well prepared, well cooked, and very tasty. Nothing outstanding, but a good quality pizza. Cocktails were again good (not great), but seemed like what you'd pay in Paris or London . I'd return, but probably just for drinks or starters. It's a nice vibe and a nice atmosphere. Good quality also. However, there are lots of other spots in Lisbon to grab a good meal at a more reasonable cost.

    Guilty Restaurant placemat :)

We were looking for a dining spot close to the hotel and were recommended this place. Pleasant atmosphere. I had a salmon salad which I enjoyed and my husband had a hamburger which was pretty good. The only thing I found was that the female waitresses were not very friendly. All else was good. Especially if you are looking to dine at something more "American" and less (or none) Portuguese :)

All of them were friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond. Seriously, not only did they do their job, but they went out of their way to make us feel special and welcomed. It was such a great experience. Oh, did I mention the view? Amazing! The food there was great, we had mostly sushi, sashimi, tacos, etc, all of which was fresh and tasty. The wait team gave us recommendations which were spot on. No upsells, but honest and right on the money based on what we described we wanted. They knew their stuff and delivered. That was a highlight for sure. Well done, SEEN team. And as a side note, the folks - well one person in particular - who complained about the dress code, it's seriously not a "thing." It's very clearly spelled out and it's not a huge burden. Image attached. It's clearly referenced when you make a reservation, it's on their website, and it's frankly not unreasonable. We saw a range of people there and they were all welcomed. The bottom line is, this place is a nicer place. If you feel like being overly casual, or sloppy, this likely isn't the place for you. And that's totally ok. There are plenty of other rooftops you can go to and be overly casual or sloppy at and fit right in, no problem. But honestly, you have to proactively work to not meet the dress code here. Especially during lunch. All that being said, we loved this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

However, we eventually grew tired of this and wanted to enjoy a cocktail or two with the locals. After doing some shopping, we stumbled upon The Bar. Unlike some of the other bars, The Bar does not have outdoor seating. Therefore, you have to keep your eyes peeled for the entrance. Upon entering the dimly lit intimate bar, we were warmly greeted by a bartender named Joao. We took in the romantic ambiance (they have a Louis Vuitton Virgil Abloh collector's book!) as we found seating on one of their cozy + comfy couches. My wife ordered the Porn Star Martini (you gotta love an establishment that has a little fun with the name of their drinks) and I ordered the Long Island Iced Tea (this used to be my go-to back in my clubbing days). I knew the drinks would be delicious when I saw Joao carefully crafting the drinks as if he was bathing a newborn. Six minutes later we were sipping on our delectable drinks. In fact, the drinks were so delectable that we slowly sipped them to not finish them too quickly. We made repeated visits to The Bar during our stay in Lisbon, specifically for their Happy Hour that takes place from 5pm to 8pm. With the exception of the signature cocktails, all cocktails are $7 during Happy Hour. If you're looking to consume an adult beverage in a comfortable, cozy, and non-touristy environment...I highly recommend The Bar!

Our server informed us they close at 11 but still served us at 11:10, we apologized but he insisted we stay. This was the main reason I am going with 5 stars. This server was very kind and brought us our drink that we drank rather fast so that he could get home as soon as possible. Both of our drinks were expertly made and the ambiance only added to the experience.

This bar wasn't far from where we were staying and we happened to pass by here almost everyday, so we finally decided to check this place out. The bar was still super cheap, and I loved that everyone was just here to enjoy a drink and chat with friends. It gives off a local dive bar vibe, which I really liked. Apparently there's also a rooftop (I was looking at the reviews here), but we didn't get a chance to check it out as it was nighttime and raining when we visited. Conveniently located right outside the metro station and surrounded by several cafés, it's an easy place to grab a quick drink and take a break from exploring the city. We took advantage of the small rooftop seating area, which provided a nice spot to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and, of course, make a quick restroom stop before continuing our journey. Although the staff team was small, they were efficient and friendly, taking our orders promptly and getting our drinks out quickly so we could stay on schedule. I ordered a maracujá (passion fruit) and rum cocktail along with a bottle of water, and the drink was absolutely delicious--refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for a warm day in Lisbon. The rest of our group also enjoyed their drinks and had positive things to say about their selections. If you're looking for a convenient spot near the metro for a quick drink and a chance to unwind, Lisboa Bar is worth a visit.
