She was absolutely spot on and our group of four had a wonderful evening seeing "We Will Rock You" and even got to sing-along without getting kicked out! Fantastic venue, beautiful setting, fun show and helpful staff. Some tips: Parking/Bus: Two pay parking spots near Malkin Bowl. The bus loops is also nearby within a 5-minute walk. Food: You can bring your own picnic and have dinner outside in the lovely little garden or inside the theatre on the grass area or at your seat. Their Café inside offers hot dogs, popcorn, cold/hot drinks and beer/wine. At intermission, the bar/café was busy so plan ahead and pre-order your drinks. Venue: Ticket prices were reasonable - cost more for the front and less for the back. We sat at the back and enjoyed equally. Big plastic lawn chairs to sit. If you find the chairs too hard on your bottoms, you rent seat cushions by donation. I just sat on my blanket and that helped. As the chairs are outside, they can be dusty so bring a cloth to wipe before you sit down. Portable toilets inside the theatre's ground but if you want "real" washrooms they are located a minute walk off the site at the Stanley Park Dining Pavilion. Bring bug spray as there mosquitos around. Best to apply before the show starts. Being additional layers to keep warm. Once the sun goes down it can get chilly.

It's small and intimate inside the theatre, all seats having a great view of the stage. Comfortable seats, well ventilated, and clean washrooms. Will be back to check out other productions here.

Please book with them!…read more We had this crazy idea to perform at our wedding...and thought Bollywood would be a great way to engage the guests at our half Caucasian/half Indian wedding. Who needs to hire extra performers ;) ? After doing a little research for local dance studios, First Dance Vancouver caught my eye. I went through their website, watched some of their videos and got excited. I reached out to Delphine to share our vision - a Bollywood mashup, integrating our wedding party...sure enough, she had an instructor ready and dates lined up for us. We purchased the large wedding package - and ended up purchasing more classes as we were having so much fun and wanted to learn more. My husband was really hesitant at first, but after our first class he was really impressed and ready to take on the challenge. Karima was such an amazing instructor, she was patient, welcoming, experienced, and full of energy. She broke down the steps, recorded videos, mixed our two songs seamlessly - and provided lots of encouragement! As beginner dancers to Bollywood, of course there were challenging times - but the more we practiced the better we both felt. Karima went at a pace that was suitable for us, and ensured that we felt confident leading up to our big day. We felt like stars in Karima's and Delphine's eyes. I really think this experienced helped bring my husband and I together even more. I highly recommend working with First Dance Vancouver as you will have complete dedication and genuine service. I can't think of another wedding vendor who went as over and above as this team. Forever thankful for this experience - and I really hope you take the plunge and learn to dance with First Dance Vancouver. You will not regret it.

Her confidence in us was contagious and really helped us to get the steps down and then to have fun with it too! The choreography also matched our personalities and relationship beautifully. The classes were so much fun that we are hoping to take dance classes permanently now. Learning the routine really connected us in a way that we hadn't before. The whole experience was so refreshing and exciting. I would recommend Delphine to everyone who wants to do something special for their first dance!! She's such a lovely person who will have the faith in you that you need to do the beautiful routine she creates for your special day!! :D

Sarkar perform magic with my late grandpa -- a deeply nostalgic and special feeling. We sat in the couple VIP seats, and the showmanship was exceptional. You can choose what magic will be performed in the show when you seat in these seats. The 75 minutes flew by. The secret location and the unique way you enter make the entire experience feel immersive from the very beginning. Truly one of a kind and a must-visit in New Westminster. The ambience has a flapper-era vibe, perfect for photos. So, definitely dress nicely, as there are great photo opportunities. The performers were the best part. Super funny and quick on their feet, making stuff up on the spot that had us laughing the whole time. Good pick for families too. The content stayed pretty clean, nothing really inappropriate for a 12 year old, not that a typical 12 year old hasn't heard worse. They've got one intermission, free water, and a bar with snacks, popcorn, and drinks. The seats have cup holders so you can enjoy your tasty beverage while watching the show. Three people from the audience get picked to judge each scene from 1 to 5. They get chosen randomly before the show. Need to be at the tables at the front or in the first or second row to get picked, I think. Would totally recommend for a family outing especially if you have kids interested in comedy, high school drama class, SNL or similar. And Granville Island area is so nice to walk around it makes for a nice evening. Just keep in mind that the market closes at 7pm so arrive to island by at least 6:30pm to buy and eat your dinner, and then walk the 4 minutes to the Improv Centre. Or else skip dinner and eat Snickers bars and popcorn at the Improv Centre. Bought my tickets only the morning of the show. Easy to do.

I was grown up watching lots of 80's and 90's movies and this was the great opportunity to join sound immersive experience with the orchestra. And it's only $19 The catch is this concert artists are still students from Vancouver Academy of Music. But they are great. They had lots of audiences and I was happy to help those kids(some are adults) as well. Everyone are happy. Before I booked online, I checked the seat map by the third party website. They have slight "width" difference. I choose wider seat on aisle and it was very comfortable. There was no price difference. I hope it helps you next time.
