He took it for about 30 minutes and hooked me up to one of their acoustic amps and the problem was solved. The battery in it was dead for one but he also addressed something else that I didn't fully comprehend. 15 minutes later he came by, I said "you fixed it man! How much?" "Eh, don't worry about it." I'll be buying a new guitar from here someday and all of my strings and other guitar needs in the meantime! Trust, this place should be your go to.

There's some beautiful guitars that I made myself avoid, lest I have to ship it home. Do yourself a favor and stop in and check them out. Mom and Pop music shops are nowhere near as common out in my part of California. It's basically nothing but Guitar Centers out there. Do not let that happen in my home state please! Full disclosure: I knew Forrest back in the 80s when he recorded my band's music, but until the other day I hadn't done business with him regarding guitar repair or lessons, both of which he now offers. I took in my Martin D-15 for a simple restringing and was a little amazed, if I'm being honest, at the degree of care and confidence he worked. All the while, I badgered him with specific questions about how and why he was doing things I saw--being out of town, I need to be able to do this for myself. He was patient and careful, making this and that suggestion--strings and stringing techniques--and completing his work with the tiniest adjustment of the bow in my guitar's neck, something he'd noticed almost instinctually. I left having caught up on old times and holding a guitar that's never sounded better in its short life. Absolutely top-notch confident work.
