The atmosphere is laid back and customers aren't confined to the showroom. They welcome you back to the shop and will show you instruments they are building in various stages of finish. You can see how much care goes into their work. Even the "relic" work they do is an art and is really well done (if that's your thing). I definitely needed to take a moment and brag on this facilities newest amp technician as of week ago. I have had a Mesa Boogie F50 amplifier since 2004 that I purchased used. This amplifier is extremely special to me because it was my first Mesa Boogie. My grandmother also assisted me in purchasing it and so it has a lot of sentimental value to me. As a result, when it actually finally had a problem and was not working right the thought of having to leave it with a repair facility simply terrified me because I don't trust just anyone with my equipment. I think the amp Tech was able to somewhat sense this and went the extra mile to not only explain to me what he found that was wrong with my amp but took the time to explain what all of it meant and the breakdown on how these components work and how in my amplifier they have a risk of failing due to the high temperatures within the amp. I can't say on too many occasions I have ever felt that a repair Tech has ever been so willing to spend so long on the phone with me and even send me text messages with photographs of the amp during the repair process. As crazy as I am about people repairing my amps and my equipment I must say that this was certainly Way Beyond what I ever would have expected anyone to do. All I can say is I will certainly be back again not just for repairs but for modifications to other gear that I have thought about tweaking and modifying. If you are in need of guitar repair or amp repair, it's definitely worth the drive. By the way, I live nearly two hours away from this particular shop and I would go back every time. Update. I got the amp back and apparently there has been something wrong with it for quite some time because it's either that or this guy absolutely worked one of the most astounding Miracles ever on my amplifier and made it sound like it has never sounded since I've owned it. On top of that he took the time to actually install a fan on the amplifier that is keeping everything on the chassis completely cool and operating better than it has ever before. I definitely can't say enough good things about this amp Tech or any of the staff at bluesman vintage. I highly recommend these guys read more

We're just 3 weeks into guitar lessons for my 8 year old, but so far these guys have been nothing less than the absolute best. Talk to Josh, he's really knowledgeable and professional, he'll get you set up. The owner's around and also really amicable and happy to help. They're a little tucked away, so if you don't seek them out, you wouldn't know they're there, but that doesn't seem to affect business. They seem to stay busy. read more
