Guitars Etc has been serving musicians and future musicians since 2010 in Athens, TX and Canton, TX. We are experienced in music education, instrument sales and repairs. With us students gain the ability to play and jam with others. Anyone can sell you a guitar, when you become a part of our band of musicians by purchasing from us, you learn to play. We have a staff of experienced and gigging musicians and we teach the Progressive Guitar Method, which allows us to take you from the very beginning of learning guitar to an advanced player. We also have musicians who are skilled in pedal steel, mandolin, advanced theory, drums and singing. We take our students and advance them to a better understanding of music and performance. At Guitars Etc, we not only teach the methodology of the music, but you will learn the music you actually enjoy. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a beginning guitar player, we are eager to help you.

Meet the Business Owner: Will B.

Will Burgin is an avid guitar player and music lover. Will, runs and owns Guitars Etc. in Athens and is the also owner of Purebody Nutrition in Tyler. Will has been playing and songwriting for over 20 years, and has two children, Ray and Brookelyn. Will also plays pedal steel, mandolin, and resonator guitar. One of Will's passions is building custom guitar pedals and cigar box guitars. He is enthusiastic about teaching the methodology and techniques of music and sharing his knowledge with others. Will ensures that Guitars Etc. is stocked with a wide variety of great music brands, so whatever your musical needs they can accommodate you.
