We have used Trouts several times. Each time they have been very helpful with selecting the right appliance(s) and matching local pricing. Went to Lowe's first and store attendant asked if she could help us. We said we were shopping for a new washer and dryer. She said "let me know if I can help you", and walked off. We left and went to Trouts. Trouts also offers great customer service. No contract workers who don't know what they are doing. This is a family owned business. Small, but amazingly well stocked with the best names in appliances with very competitive pricing. They recently repaired one of my appliances; my dishwasher. It needed a new motor and water pump. From my appointment date, to completion of my washer was less than a week; they even had to order my parts! We just moved to town and needed a fridge washer and dryer. We decided to give this local shop a try and we are so glad we did! They only carry reliable brands, the washer and dryer we got clean our clothes so well they look brand new. Our fridge wasn't cooling so I gave them a call (during this winter storm) and only one person was in the store but he came over to check out what the problem was less than an hour after we got off the phone. Trout's sold, delivered and installed all of our kitchen appliances for a recent remodel/upgrade of the kitchen. Service was excellent. I'd purchased a sound deadening blanket for the dishwasher due to it being installed on a wall facing the Living Room. It turned out that a sound blanket was included with the dishwasher. The Trout install team wrapped the new dishwasher in BOTH blankets and now the dishwasher is whisper quiet. When the refrigerator and dishwasher were damaged in the recent cold spell, Trout's repaired both very quickly. We wouldn't go anywhere other than Trout's! read more

This place is an absolute rip off. They will scam you every chance that they have. If you own a Lakehouse, you are specifically their prey. Be very wary. Much better to purchase these appliances from somewhere else and have them shipped out to your Lakehouse. read more

Got used dryer with warranty. It was not working, called and was told to check all vents. I did so and no resolve to the problem. Took it in. John the service guy. Said he'll try himself doing loads in dryer and be done that day. It wasn't. Got call next morning. It work all 3 times he tried. We were not there to confirm that. But he gave us option to take $125.00 of the $204. We spent. We took the money, cause we did not want dryer back and was not going to make a fuss out of the horrible experience. I can promise he probably did not dry with a full load of laundry and only used a workshop rag or something. That's why he even offered any money back. read more

Think twice before shopping at Trout Appliance, and don't every have anything repaired there. I took my washer in to be repaired, waited a week I had to call them, The soft specking lady checked and said your parts r in and it will be ready tomorrow, waited another week; again I had to call them, soft specking lady said the washer is still setting there with the parts on top, she told me she would call John and see what the problem is. I ask nicely will you please call me just as soon as you talk to John. "Never called" Monday starting the third week," I called " the lady was no longer nice, told me to hold on, came back telling me John was out but would return in an hour, at that time he would start on it and the washer would be ready in a day r so. In a very sweet tone I said" Ill send someone after my washer in the next thirty minutes". I picked my washer up after three weeks STILL NOT WORKING! I don't no what they do at that shop, but as for as me they don't repair appliance!!!!!! read more
