I have been going here for 8 1/2 years. I loved the former owners but apparently the business was sold. Jeff use to cut my dog and did an amazing job. The last few times I have gone the bill has been creeping up. Today, I dropped my dog at 10am and got a notification at 12:04 that she was ready. When I went to pay I was charged $108 for the groom and an additional $30 for a dematting fee. I have never been charged that and Ruth and Jeff would have contacted me first. It seems now they just add in hidden costs. The thing of it is my dog was shaved and was only there for two hours. I asked to speak to the owner and Luis came over. He told me he was not the owner but he had to brush her underneath for 30 min. Keep in mind she was in only there two hours. I told him I was unhappy and she looked shaved and a $30 fee was crazy. I told him if I paid that we would not be back. Luis was rude and could have cared less. Well I paid the bill but you lost a loyal customer. I have referred multiple people here as well. Please be very careful with this business. We would NOT suggest nor recommend using them!! We had trusted our miniature schnauzer with Gulf Beaches Grooming for sometime BUT unfortunately the last grooming visit on 06/07/21 they severely burned him under his neck! We were never told upon picking him up that there had been any kind of incident. We took him home & immediately we realized there was a problem! I will never be able to explain in words the look our poor baby had! He would not move, he would not eat or drink and the look his eyes had were major stress! His eyes looked like they had been dilated they were so large!! We called Gulf Beaches & they offered a natural essential oil cream which my husband went and picked up from them, they did not charge us for the cream....sadly he was in such pain we had no choice but to make an appointment with his Vet. Due to extreme burn the Vet had to give our fur baby a shot for pain, an antibiotic, a steroid an pain meds to help him get through this! So after paying $63.25 for a grooming visit and a Vet bill of $192.00. The owner, Jeff, contacted us after we contacted his wife twice. When we explained what all had happened, Jeff said, "it happens sometimes and he hopes we will give his business another chance"!! He never offered to credit us or give a discount for future appointments. He offers nothing but .... "it happens sometimes"!! We are deeply disappointed in any business who claims they are christian based and care about our fur babies like they are theirs!! NO they must NOT! They would not want or expect their fur baby to be burned during a grooming appointment! Actions speak much louder than their words!! By doing nothing to make it right, it tells us this business cares more about the money than our fur babies!! As a consumer and animal lover, we feel it is in the best interest of others who may be considering using this business to please be careful! read more

Jeff has groomed our puppy Bailey since he was 3 months old. He is now 11 months old. He always does a wonderful job. Bailey loves Jeff and is not afraid to be groomed. We will never take Bailey any where else. read more

Just returned from Gulf Beach Grooming and I am pleased to say my Goldendoodle Charly looks fantastic. The groomer did everything I asked for and and more. You can tell he really loves dogs and enjoys what he does. The facility is cage free and and seems to alleviate some of the stress associated with a trip to the groomer. The dogs all seemed very chill while waiting for their owners to pick them up, and the price is reasonable. read more

Wow times a million! This is the best groomer I have EVER used. Not only are Jeff and Ruth some of the sweetest people I have encountered since I moved to Madeira Beach, but they also did an excellent job with my 15 year-old Yorki. They listened to all my requests and made sure I was happy with the results before I left ... BUT! ... They didn't stop there ... They followed up with a telephone call a couple days later, and then a hand written thank you card in the mail! What!? Who does that anymore???! What an excellent finish to an already stellar job! Jeff does a fantastic job grooming my havanese and wheaten terrier. He really knows how to handle them and obviously loves dogs. He does not cage them. His price is very reasonable. He moved to a new place in Madiera Beach and it is really nice. I highly recommend this groomer. read more
