I was long overdue for a regular women's check-up, but until my experience with Dr Ringhoffer's…read moreoffice, I abhorred going to OB/GYNs. A friend of mine got fed up with her regular OB/GYN and she switched to Dr Ringhoffer. She told me what a wonderful doctor she is and how she listened to her, made suggestions as to a few treatment options, and within a couple of weeks, resolved medical problems her other doctor let linger for several months. I decided to make an appointment to go see her, and luckily, my friend was right about her. I had a great experience too. First of all, the staff is very efficient. They got me scheduled within a week, and I only waited about 3-5 minutes in the lobby after completing my paperwork. Shortly after being put in a room, Dr Ringhoffer came in and discussed my medical history, left while I changed, then came back in and completed my exam. She was the most gentle doctor I can ever recall seeing. Afterward, one of the nurses drew blood for a thyroid check. Now I'm not ashamed to admit that I panic like a five year old when I see a needle, but that nurse was a magic woman with that needle and I hardly felt it at all. When it was all said and done, I was in and out of her office within an hour. Today, a week later, they received all of my lab results and called to tell me everything looks good. When I say I was overdue, it had been over 8 years. That's never a good idea to wait that long, I know. I was exasperated. I'd spent years going to OB/GYNs and telling them what was going on, only to be given prescriptions for birth control pills and be sent on my way. I eventually solved those issues on my own by doing research and taking specific vitamins, and I don't have all the side effects that go along with birth control pills. My friend's prior doctor had been doing her the same way, and had her on two different kinds of birth control at the same time, and it still wasn't solving her problems. As I mentioned, Dr Ringhoffer was able to resolve it quickly. If you're searching for a new doctor for any reason, whether you're new in town, or you're tired of pill-pushing doctors and doctors that won't listen to you, I highly recommend going to see Dr Ringhoffer. She broke the stereotype I had about OB/GYNs, and if she can change MY mind, that says a lot about the quality and professionalism of her and her staff. In fact, I think I'll start going to see her annually like I'm supposed to do. One last thing - there are several buildings in that complex and her building is next door to the Emergency Room.

Over $600 I spent and not one of the services was worth the money. I will go back to that spa. Don't waste your money on that VI peel, it's every expense and doesn't even peel. Very disappointed.

All of the staff was incredibly down to earth and friendly. Dr. Milan is a phenomenal doctor. One of the things that makes a great doctor is their ability to listen to their patients (which I have found severely lacking in the area). She doesn't type or write while you're talking, she listens and engages and cares and learns to understand your situation. Having seen many doctors on the west coast in metropolitan cities, I firmly believe that I will come to learn even more that she is one of the top best doctors in Ocean Springs, and the gulf coast of Mississippi. The office is beautiful, serene and has a calming affect. They also offer aesthetician and dermatology services in their spa. Just a beautiful establishment with good people and good energy. Unfortunately Mississippi is in dyer need of good OB care along with a laundry list of birth related assistance/ birthing centers and generally speaking medical care for its Mississippi population. Dr Christie along with his nursing staff, office staff, L&D staff and postpartum staff will be exactly what you can count on if you're looking for the most beautiful experience. I am a veteran, military wife, mother to 4 now and doula. My love for advocating for mamas and babies was taken into my own personal positive experience with Dr. Christie. Voicing every intention I had from the very beginning was all accounted for and heard. Dr. Christie along with board certified nurse practitioner Leanne Virgilio gave me one of the best experiences I have had as a pregnant person. Anytime I needed help, questions or concerns I was given direct and/ or private numbers to doctor, nurse and staff. I never felt I would have to worry with someone always answering any and all of my concerns. If you want to feel heard and seen this will be your top choice in Mississippi. My labor and delivery will be one of my most cherished as well, Kadejah and Kaylan (along with the rest of the beautiful L&D staff) worked there butts off to make my L&D as close to my unmedicatbirth plan as possible and I have to say they nailed it.
