"Military Sewing". You go in, and there's a diminutive lady who will greet you as you walk in the door. Hand her your items, tell her what you want, and let her do it. Don't stand over her shoulder, she knows what she's doing. Don't try to dictate what you want, because I'll bet dollars to donuts that she knows more about what has to go where than you do. I was sent here as my niece's school exclusively utilizes this shop to affix the logos for their school uniforms. While initially that seemed to be a bit of a nuisance, I wondered 'why can't I just use my local embroidery shop?'. After visiting the shop, being a party to the friendly staff, great customer service, I soon forgot about the trip to Metairie & started focusing on what I PERSONALLY could have monogrammed...
