Looking for a new Jeep Wrangler for my son, I spoke with Kenna over the phone. She told me they had three 2019s left on the lot that fit my needs, one with a sticker price of $41K, and that they were currently offering up to 40% off. So, my son and I drove from League City to check them out only to find that, apart from the vehicles they had on the lot, none of what she told me was true. The salesman that helped us never went under $42K on the vehicle she told me had a window sticker of $41, and the 40% off only applied to Jeep Cherokees. She knew we were not looking at Cherokees, but lied just to get us in the door. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE HATE BUYING CARS! If you are not interested in being lied to, don't even waste your time here. I live 4 miles away from this dealership and trying to get them to even answer the phone is a crazy. I'd say out of the 20 times I called not even exaggerating on the number of times they answered the phone 7 times. Was hung up on the transfer 3 times was put on hold for about 10 mins each time twice and was sent to a voice mail twice and never received a call back in 3 weeks. I called Clearlake dodge and got someone on the phone and made an appointment in less than 5 mins and the lady was extremely nice and told me about a coupon they had for 3 synthetic oil changes, 3 tire rotations, and 3 car washes for 99$. They don't have to worry about me buying another car after this one and this is the 3rd one. They didn't care about anything but me signing the contract. When I called my insurance company they still was showing the 2016 that was lost in the flood back in September 2019. For the last 45 days that I have had the 2019 vehicle, it was never insured nor was I ever told what to do to get it insured and after speaking to one of the per say Big guys in charge, he was a bit arrogant and shifted the blame back on me and said I was suppose to do it even if I did give them my insurance policy on the previous car before driving off the lot. Well what was the purpose of me giving it to you then? But if I am not told what I need to complete everything then I won't know. They called and had it switched on the other two vehicle why not this one. I feel that Gulf gate Dodge didn't care about me or their vehicle as well as put my safety in jeopardy. Worst service ever from the sales team. I come in inquiring about a Dodge charger they only had two of the same model they are on the lot only difference with the color. Their online MSRP was $41,000 the salesman tries to show me something to thousand dollars higher. When I correct him and show him the ad online he's out right tells me that they're not gonna move on the price. So I tell him to run me the numbers of the other vehicle. He had an attitude and straight up told me he did not want to do it. So with that being said I got up and left. The crazy part is I was ready to buy a car that day and even have money to play around with. But since the sales team was unprofessional I decided to take my Business somewhere else. Worst dealership in Houston! Was buying a new truck from them after seeing the vehicle on their website for what I thought was a great price. They showed me the vehicle and told me I could pick any of the three color they had chose the color I liked the best and waited to go to finance I told them I was already pre approved they just wait until you talk to finance. So I waited and waited finally went in and they had all these forms to sign and I asked why is it 5k more then the price I understand TT and L but $3,200? They told me "window tint, alarm monitoring system, paint protection, carpet protection" I told them I didn't need any of this I asked to see the salesman the salesman told me he had to talk to his manager. Manager came in the sales room and told me that already install in the vehicle we can not take it out. It's a sellers market only about 20 Vehicles on the lot so I bought it because I knew he was right. So beware of paying extra money for stuff you don't need! read more

This company increases prices to an over inflated number just for added process. They do not honor their internet price and add "maintenance" for 2000 over the price. If you don't pay the 2000 over the price they won't sell you the car. This is illegal. I am notifying the OCCC to audit them because these people are ripping people off without the customers knowing. If I could give zero stars I would! They do not honor their internet price. The sales manager, Scott, told us they had added "extras" to the car- there were no extras. I told him I didn't want any extra packages, no maintenance package- only the advertised price. He said they couldn't do that. This place is a total SCAM! Fraudulent business practices! We drove over an hour to see this car, called to verify the availability & price, and even checked with the salesman before our test drive that the price listed was indeed the correct price..... Everything was good until we sat down to make a deal... Then they sprang thousands of dollars in extras on us. I will never step foot on this lot again. These guys should be put out of business- just read the reviews (wish I had). read more

I called on 12-31-18 and left a message twice and no call back. Got on line and needed to have a recall done and was told by the internet person someone would call me and set it up. Here it is 4 days later and no phone call or any contact at all. If you call they send you to voice mail. Once this recall is done, I am done. I need my oil changed soon and will take else where. This is not the kind of service I expect. I pay my payment on time monthly and they seem to take the customer for granted. I love my van, but will go else where when it is time to get a new one. Lost this customer. This will be the 4th recall and it my time that gets used sitting and waiting, the least they could do is wash your car. read more

Good morning, here is my situation. I purchase a used car from Gulf Gate Dodge, I drove the car for a few days before I called the dealer and let them know that my car was acting up the Radio isn't working, the GPS isn't working and the front sensor kept popping up on dash. They said to bring it in, I brought the car to the dealer on the 12th of November, where they had the car for a full week, got back and the car still wasn't fix so I had to stand my ground in order to get a loaner car until they return my car. After a full month and a half they finally called me saying to return the loaner car Nissan said it's going to be over $6k to rewire my car. So I brought the loaner back and they gave me my car back I went and spoke to the use car manager and the person who sold me the car they reassured me that they will get the job done, by using one of their in home mechanics to do the wiring and they will call me to schedule it, it's been 3 months now and every time I call the dealer to speak the the manager I keep getting the run around and I could never get to speak the the manager when I go to the dealership it's the same thing, so I'm stuck paying for something I can't fully use and I wanted to see if you would be able to assist or guide me in the right direction. read more
