Drove 140 miles hoping to buy a used Burgman. Ad said 8400 miles and a whole lot of service completed. It actually had almost 18,000 miles. I can't believe they didn't wholesale off this turd. Scooter had lots of scratches and scrapes on the front fender, side fairing, windshield. Had coolant on the ground below where it was parked overnight. Seat release was worn and glitchy. I smelled burning oil when I rode it. I asked if they warranted all the work they had just done to it, since there is no used dealer warranty. Nope, but if something happens " we'll help you out". Right, why would I pay dealer price for the same care I would get from a private individual? Long drive and half a day wasted. Won't go back. Everyone was very nice, at least. read more

Update: I was fooled by this dealership. My husband and I negotiated a price with what we thought was a good deal. I was promised false coverage on the bike, and it was my fault for not checking the paperwork. All of a sudden the participants in the sale changed their story. They basically dropped maintenance coverage in order to "meet" the price we were negotiating... so PLEASE, PLEASE--- check the coverage when signing. Unfortunately had a very poor experience in the Service department. Brought in my daughters daily driver after getting stalled. It wouldn't start anymore so brought it in to check somehow the bike started right up when we unloaded it from the trailer. So I decided to leave it there so they could check the error codes. After about a week later and a crazy quote, they finally got back with me telling me that the motorcycle had a broken oil tank (which is plastic) . So I asked what about the error codes I wrote down when I brought the bike in. He told me they could not work on the air codes before fixing the oil tank. They wanted me to commit to that repair first and a new battery they were recommending. Something did not set right so I decided to do neither recommendations and brought the bike home. After removing and inspecting the oil tank, we did not find any breaks holes or cracks like they were saying. I actually don't believe they even inspected it properly. I have attempted to reach the general manager to discuss this issue with no luck. So I will be taking this to Osborne cycles in South Houston, where I know I always get an honest professional service. read more

I have never had such a positive experience with a dealership in my entire life. Having my motorcycle serviced at his dealership has been such a breeze. The crew always mention discounts that they are having without me asking. The sales team are remarkably knowledgeable about motorcycles in general. They help with deep detailed comparisons to other motorcycle brands and give you what you need to make YOUR decision. They don't sell you the bike of their choice. I had a personal experience that was so rocking. I was getting my 15K service and brakes done when I was called to the hospital for an important meeting. They had one of the team members drive me to the hospital so I can take care of business while my bike was out of commission. That level of customer service seems unheard of at this day and age....but not with Stubbs Harley Davidson. This dealership has a remarkable team and as long as Eisenhower is on the dime, they will get my business every time. read more

I've purchased two full dressers from Stubbs in my years of purchasing and after today they won't receive any more business and I'm sure they really don't care. Strongly recommend if you want to deal with a reputable group avoid Jeff White's team and look at Mancuso or Republic. There is a good reason Republic sales more Harleys than Stubbs....they deliver great service! However I will say if there was one positive person in this process it was Austin in service. After requesting he have the GM call me about my questions he had the guts and the right stuff to call me back personally. Austin, go to work for another team! You're a quality person! I bought a 2021 Harley Pan America from this location and the process is 5 star; I am posting this review as my bike receives its 1,000 mile first service. I booked an appointment for 9 AM, I rolled in right on time and the staff was waiting basically with the door open for me to pull in so the service could begin. I was offered for my helmet to be stored behind the desk because I waited for my bike to be finished. I was also offered a wash for the bike which was extremely nice and it looked fantastic afterwards. After only a few hours (I was told it would take this long as it's not a typical oil change as it was the first service and there were two recalls that needed to be performed; they looked over everything on the bike to be sure it was working properly. I could tell things had been adjusted on my way home from the service. The bike felt fantastic! It was dialed in to a tee. Exceptional sales, service and parts department. read more

Brought my motorcyle in for a new charging system which consisted of replacing the stator, regulator and rotor. Junior in parts went ahead and ordered evrything thru drag and when the parts came in they proceded to do the work. when I picked up the bike I was informed that the kit they ordered was the wrong one, everything fit except they had to use my old rotor. I was still charged full price even though the work on the ticket was only partially done and when I asked them to at least give me the correct rotor and take the other one back I was told that they couldn"t because it was a kit. I was then told that they could get me some dealer points towards the purchase of merchandise in their dealership for the mistake they made in their parts department. long story short because the guy in parts didnt do his job correctly, I could be looking at paying to have the repair done all over again if my rotor goes out which is 25 years old. Stubbs has always in the past, stood out as the best dearship in Houston but that was the past. Trying to justify their mistake buy giving me point toward a few t-shirts is ridiculous After this ill never recomend them to anyone else and ill bring my buisness somewhere else read more

They seem to have a lot more used bikes of various brands than new bikes. Very friendly, courteous staff. Retail area not as big as some HD stores. Just have the basic clothes & accessories. They can be very quick on credit apps, and they say they can get any new HD bike in quickly. It's a fine store, but I think I'll do more of my business over at Republic HD in Stafford, TX, which is a little closer to me. Oh, and they're not open on Mondays, while Republic is. read more

Bought a bike from an owner who had originally pruchased it from Stubbs. He prepaid for all the services for the first 10k miles. When i called Stubbs to confirm that I could come and take advantage of this prepaid service, they advised that it does not transfer to the new owner. When I asked why not since it was pre paid for the service on the bike and not the owner, they could not explain the reason. Makes no sense, since they got paid for it and now refuse it, originally it is their bike and now they refuse to honour their promise / contract. They will never have my business. read more

This review is about the service center. The sales team has always been friendly and very helpful. The service center is a joke. Took in my Harley to get new handle bars put on. They did it in a timely matter no complaints there but now looking back at it I wish they would have taken more time to make the finished product better. When I received the bike they were closing so I wanted to get out of there hair so took the bike home and noticed on my ride home the clutch housing was loose about 20% play up and down movement. Seems kind of dangerous to me. When I got off the bike I noticed all of the wiring was poorly placed on the bike. A bulge of wires clearly visible now I did have some wires that were not shrink tubed and I asked why didn't they fix that issue been more than happy to pay for the xtra time. She said they don't fix other people's issues ummm wait aren't y'all a repair center? To fix issues ? I took my time out of my day to fix what could have taken him with the front end off the bike 20 extra minutes. I then called to speak to manager. I got a run around and saying "i don't know how I can help you or fix this situation." I called them back and asked them to reimburse me for my time. They said we will meet you half way. I guess that's what you'll get a 50% done job, with Harley dealership. Brandon in service on the other hand is a great guy actually listens to you but the manger back there has no idea how to handle any situation. Her name is Christie or whatever. read more

I have been riding motorcycles for 48 years now, the last 36 being strictly Harley Davidson. In all of my travels in the U.S. and all of the purchases I have made at H-D dealerships in person, by phone and by internet, not once has my ( Canadian ) VISA credit card been refused because it is an " out of country " credit card! I was recommended to you by Wisconsin Harley Davidson. I am sure they would not have done so knowing that you have to show up in person if you are not from the U.S. I am confident I will find the part I am looking for by a dealer who in common sense will honour my internationally accepted Visa card. read more

Unless you don't mind a dealership that will sell you new $19.000 bike with a known issue, Stubbs is your place. 2 months and only 100 miles later , mine is getting a new short block installed as per Harley directive at a reputable dealer that doesn't sell bikes with known issues just to secure a sale from an out of towner just before closing time on Saturday. They didn't even put the bike in transport mode nor show us how to do it before they all left. My wife and I had to dig through the manual and figure it out and were the last ones to drive away from a vacated dealership with our lemon on our 200 mile journey back home. After all, who wouldn't want to buy any new vehicle that needs the engine torn down to the bone so they can ride away in complete confidence and experience that great American steel Iron Horse dream they've heard so much about. I'm still wondering why Harley won't just give me a new bike and take this one back to the assembly line and use as a training tool. But I guess since there is a willing line of unsuspecting dreamers that can pay cash for beta testing their lemons and just throw more parts at it , why would they. What was I thinking? But yea, if you're into deception, deflection, and false concern, look no further the next time you got 20 grand burning a hole in your wallet. My salesman later over the phone even offered me praise by saying that he was confident that if anyone could get the bugs on this bike worked out it would be me. I have mixed feelings about this dealership. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful how ever are lacking in the area of knowledge and expertise which brings there overall professionalism to mediocre. I did get a very good deal on my 2008 Rocker I purchased there, how ever have not been satisfied with the service department on the 2 different Harley's I have taken there for service and/or repair. This last time I brought my bike in for service I have decided to never use this dealership ever again for service or repair. They did try to square things up with me by refunding me $250.00 for a part they claimed I needed even though I argued that they had made the wrong diagnoses, and the part they said I needed was not the issue. Turns out I was right. Anyway, I have had numerous dealings with other large Harley dealerships, and have to say this one is about "par for the course" with having similar feelings about many of the others as well. I went in on a Tuesday to buy a VROD Muscle two tone black Quartz. I knew what I wanted and had done a full research on the bike and how much I'll be willing to pay for it. Anyways, we started to talk and the sales associate Jeff bring over his Manager Collins to discuss my price options. I gave him my offer then he went in to his office and came back with a counter offer which was not what I offered but it wasn't a big difference for me any ways so finally I agreed and we went ahead to pull my credit history which came back fine and I was offered the APR I knew I'd be paying. But, the krux of the deal was they didn't have the bike in their stock to sell me but they did manage to make me deal and said we'll do whatever to get you the bike you want. So I said ok and they started with the whole searching for the bike thing. They made me wait all the way to the time the store was about to close and then the sales person Jeff came to me and said the lady who was searching to locate the bike you want has left for the day. Never mind to that, we'll call you tomorrow and get you in to sign the papers and deliver the bike. I was fine with that. They called the next day and said they made all the effort to locate the bike I wanted and were unfortunately unsuccessful. To which I said that's complete BS because I went to the dealer before visiting them and they had it in their stock. So I also told them about it that there is a bike at that certain location and to which Jeff said oh it's been sold already. And so I guess they dealt with me in bad faith. So I guess deals off. But all this didn't seem to make sense so just to satisfy my curiosity I called the dealer I visited who had that exact bike was still available for sale. And there were few other Harley Davidson dealer who had the exact same color model to be sold. Dealt in bad Faith. Reading other customers reviews I totally wanted to do business with them. But unfortunately I am truly disappointed. read more
