In February 2024, I moved from AL to NY. They broke/damaged over 30 items and lost 4 items, 2 were an antique kidney desk and elephant legged coffee table. I had a 125K no deductible valuation policy. I was also told I had 9 months from day of delivery to make a claim. The claims on the 30 lost/damaged items were honored. However, I received 25% of the value I claimed on the 4 lost items because I was supposed to report them lost the day of delivery. I had over 200 items delivered and part of the delivery went directly into storage. I am just writing this review now because I just recently received the check for the lost furniture after filing a dispute and writing the president of the company. They refused to give me the amount that I claimed so the check was for 25%. They really deserve 0 stars. Disgusting.

We were referred to Allied by Angie's List, and John Fayard was the nearest local affiliate assigned to our project. Their representative Vic came from Gulfport to survey our house and belongings and provided a quote, and even though the quote was a little higher than one we received from another mover, we decided to take the plunge and signed a contract. On the appointed day Arlando and his fabulous crew arrived and worked hard but carefully nonstop for about six hours getting our home into the shuttle truck, which was necessary because the moving van was parked blocks away because it could not drive or park on our narrow street. They then had to transfer everything into the moving van. A week later Arlando met us at our new home and, with the help of a local crew, reversed the process to get everything inside. We also had one car shipped through their subcontractor, and that arrived promptly. To top off the experience, the final price turned out to be considerably less than the estimate! In summary, Fayard is a very professional company that knows what it's doing and has great employees and customer service.

So I preface this review by dropping some knowledge about me that may help you. I love folk art, funky art, and art created by folks influenced by the MS Gulf Coast. I don't know if I would describe Walter Anderson's stuff as folk art or funky art, but he was most definitely influenced by this area that I happen to love. It's not what I would describe as fancy pants or highfalutin, but it is most definitely my kind of art. Realizations is chock full of Walter Anderson originals. There are books of prints, postcards, clothing, bookmarks, large scale prints, and everything else you can think of. Pieces range from a few dollars for a card or bookmark to more expensive for some of the lager pieces. On my most recent trip I picked up some bookmarks for myself and to give as a gift (I'm a classy dude). I suspect there will be several more trips in my future as well. You made it this far? Nice! Worst experience with a cleaning service that I have ever had. They couldn't come as originally…read morescheduled, and trying to communicate with them about rescheduling was just impossible because they were the most unprofessional communicators that I have ever dealt with. I ended up giving up on them because of their complete lack of communication skills, although as far as I know their understanding of the situation is so poor that they think I wasn't flexible enough to allow rescheduling. I tried repeatedly to convey that that was not the case, but they didn't have sufficient communication skills to understand that.
