Today's experience was…read morejust almost as perfect but it's the first of July and 100% humidity so the weather was a huge factor. With an early morning rain, today was cart path only and the fairways were spongy and still full but everywhere you look, it's lush and green. The Marshall was just as friendly as Tuesday, the cart girl had cups of ice and another employee had cold towels. Couldn't ask for nicer people or a greener, well maintained course.

Having a visual would be good to have. Not a lot of yardage markers on the course, no gps monitor in the cart. For the price, gps should be available. Rental clubs were high, $60. I've played better courses and only paid $15 for club rental. The problem for me is that Callaway is the course sponsor. That is a good thing, they were Callaway clubs. The problem comes in when the clubs you rented for $60 are dated and extremely dirty. Tough to play with dirt caked in the clubs. I was able to wet a rag in a pond to clean the dirt off. If their sponsor, Callaway, saw the condition the rental clubs were kept in, they would be furious. A nice place, I'm 50/50 on returning.

Have played here the past two days while on vacation in Gulf Shores. Very impressed with the…read morecourse, the superintendent and his crew are working extremely hard to bring it greens back to life from a tough winter storm and it shows. All new carts are a pleasant surprise. Tee boxes and fairways are in good shape. Majority of the greens are in decent to good shape, being cut on the high side, while allowing the remaining affected patches from the winter to recover, you can be aggressive. Pace of play has not been an issue over the past two days as a single player. Really like the clubhouse, believe it serves as an event/wedding venue as well. Good range. Course is not overly challenging, but you will lose balls if you aren't accurate off the tee. For the cost of a round, this course will be a 5-star review of current care trend continues. Looking forward to playing again!

The greens are more bumpy than the cart path, and that's all you can use now. Some, key word, SOME of the staff are cool, the rest suck and act like they work at a RTJ course. The new owner thinks he just buys a course and it is as good as his other course in Georgia, buddy you got a long way to go for this course to be halfway worth the money you charge. I remember when this course used to be $80 and it was still overpriced. He'll get you for one round and I'm pretty positive that's all he cares about. He should charge around 50-70$ and he'll keep the locals, and tee times stacked, otherwise we'll just pay a little more and go to a real course!

Yes just a few mildly wet fairway areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full service cafe/bar. Course Marshall was very visible and polite. You can drive carts into parking lots to load. Good value with hot deals thru golf now App. $62 pp for 18 with cart.! Modern electric carts with out gps- 90 degree cart rule in general. Flat course yet plenty of bunkers or water hazards to make it challenging.

The air conditioned beverage cart we saw this year was impressive. Conditions were very good with consistent greens which is always a plus. My only complaint is the cost but to be fair, all the greens fees in this area (multiple courses) have increased 10-20% from last year based on my recollection.

To get to the restaurant you enter the main building and go right past their pro shop which leads to the restaurant down the hallway. They have a bar along with table and chair seating. You can only order at the bar and then there is no service at the tables. The menu was VERY concise with far fewer items than I expected. I decided to order the burger and it was a rather sad example of a burger and just really wasn't that pleasurable to eat. Overall I don't think I would want to eat here again.

The course use to be in tip top condition, not so any more. Grass is so high in fairway it's like the rough and if you miss fairway there is only heavy rough no different levels (short, medium, then taller heavy rough). Also, new signs have been installed prohibiting golfer to go in carts, up to 100 yards out, to greens( grass is usually so high, what does it matter). Of course with new signs requires, course marshall following everybody around fussing at players if they go past one these signs. No thanks!! No plans to return...
