Played an event here in October. Course is in amazing condition. The greens roll true and are fast.

Ok so I will not complain about the course because the grounds keepers cannot control the weather. And I had the option to look at the radar. Before I even hit the range, the nice ladies at the clubhouse let me know I could get a raincheck if it was too bad. And since it was slow they let me start early. I was asked to stay on the cart path due to the weather and that meant I walked a lot more than normal seeing as I would inevitably slice to the other side of the fairway. I enjoy this course and the people who work there. I've played it more than a handful of times and I will continue to come back. (Unless it's raining) read more

Played at least a dozen rounds there with no issues. Things changed for the worse starting @ December. Our last 4 rounds took @ 5 hours. Something i've never experienced at other courses on a regular basis. They are overbooking the course resulting in slow play. Contacted mngmt & got standard reply. Worst golf course I've ever played. Payed for 4 golfers, only 3 of us actually golfed. Marshals up our butts the whole round telling us to keep up the pace on a Saturday, when we were sandwiched between two other groups. Never coming back read more

A good golf course for the price. The fairways and greens were well kept. My only complaint is that it was very crowded. The tee times didn't seem to be very spaced out. I had to sit and wait about 5-10 minutes on every tee. It wouldn't have been a problem, but it was very hot outside. I will definitely play there again read more

Went to this course to play 9 holes yesterday, and had the worst customer service experience. It had just stopped raining, so it was not busy. It was maybe us and 2 more groups on the whole course. We asked if we could anyway play the back 9, because there was a group of 4 on the front 9, and we were immediately given attitude for no reason. We asked nicely and said if there was a problem with it then we didn't have too no big deal. Then after the front 9, we decided to play another 9, so we went in and asked if we had time could we pay for another 9 and the older man said "TODAY you do." It was only 5:30, and we played the front 9 in less than 3 hours. They charged us ANOTHER cart fee, so we went back in and asked why we were charged another cart fee if we had already paid for the cart, and the older man answered with "yeah buddy you are gonna pay another cart fee" (in a very aggravated tone). It was more expensive for the back nine than we paid originally for the front nine. I wish i would have gotten the older man's name but I was so frustrated. I get that it was a rainy day, but you have to still do your JOB and not get mad at paying customers when they come in. read more

It was my first time playing the course. The reviews were a few years old and were not positive. One recent one says that since they redid the course it was much better. I agree with that. It seemed in good condition. The price was good, $20 on the Golfnow app. The fairways were green and greens were medium speed with some challenging slopes. Good experience. read more

John, Becky and their staff are some of the best in the business. The grounds crew always working hard to keep the course in the best shape.

I will NEVER play at this golf course ever again. We paid a lot of money to enjoy our day and play 18 rounds of golf. We got reprimanded for taking so long, when in fact NO One, was even in eyes view behind us. And then when we stopped in between to use the restroom and grab some ice. I was verbally sexually assaulted by 4 golfing men that were behind us. The fowl disgusting comments they made while they stared at me made my skin crawl. I wasn't dressed provocatively nor did I give them any reason to think I would enjoy the statements. It wasn't until I was almost in tears that my guy friend stepped in and told them how inappropriate they were being. We tried to tell the manager and he breezed over the subject like we were just teenagers. If these are the kind of men that play at this course, if THESE are the kind of sick perverse humans that gather here.. I will never go back. I own my own company and will make sure to tell EVERYONE what happened there and I will be suggesting different golf courses that have a bit more class. read more

Great course tucked away in Cantonment. Extremely reasonable rates and brand new gas powered golf carts with USB ports. The course is challenging but forgiving. Please ignore the reviews over 2 years old. There is a new grounds keeper who continues to improve what is probably one of the most scenic golf courses in the area. Very reasonable cost. If you have not been there within the last year, give. It another look. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised. Another thing. Military discount and some others too. read more

Fairly maintained golf course. Not as nice as Scenic Hills, but still decent. I definately will be back.

Horrible experience. Had intentions in playing footgolf at this course and had made arrangements and gotten approval from two sources that it would be ok to come out a little early and play a round. I am currently training for a big tournament and I was aware that they have certain times for footgolf. I called ahead a week before and spoke with the GM about coming out to play early and it was not going to be an issue. On the day of I called again to make sure it was indeed ok to come play before their slotted time and it was approved. So I made the 1hr drive to the course and then was greeted with a very unpleasant lady. Attitude right away about trying to play footgolf. Didn't want to listen when I told her I had spoken with multiple people about it being ok. After she made a few phone calls she proceeded to have a attidue and throw around her arms and storm off when she had to find someone to get the course set up. This experience was horrible and would not recommend playing here. read more

The course has come a long way since I first played it for years ago. The greens are in great shape in every putt is true. Bullshits up nicely in the fairway there is plenty of grass. I am a golf course snob and I enjoy myself there. Well worth the money. read more

USED to go here until today. Son and I wanted to play a half round and as soon as I walked in I wasn't greeted with a hello I was greeted like this "do you have other shirts because we have a dress code and tank tops aren't allowed". Very rude! There was NO ONE on any tee boxes and she could've spoken a lot nicer. I spent about $800 there every year but will never go back! read more

I would rather spend a Saturday sticking bamboo shoots underneath my fingernails than play this golf course again. Myself and three buddies (who aren't avid, or even good golfers) decided to try out this course on one Saturday morning and we're greeted by a nice enough fella who took our money issued us keys to carts and told us to have a good round. We got our carts, loaded our equipment, hit a couple balls on the driving range and we were off. We teed off on hole one and finished each with gentleman's sevens (everyone got a 7) we proceeded to hole two. We all teed off on two and the course Marshall informed us we needed to increase our pace of play, after ONE hole. So we tried, we finished hole two and let the group behind us play through. We continued our round as normal with nothing else being said, until we reached hole 7. As we were coming off the green of hole seven where everyone scored an eight (told you weren't good.) We were again met by a Marshall who stated we were far too slow and we were impeding everyone else's round. I explained to the best of my ability that we weren't very good and we're playing as fast as possible. We were again told that we needed to hurry, I told the man we'd just return to the clubhouse and receive a partial refund for half a round played and then everyone could continue without our impedance. So we returned to the clubhouse where the Marshall was WARNING the club pro about us coming back and said that "the big one (that'd be me) was the ring leader of the group." The club pro stated that he didn't want us to leave just wanted to let others play through. I informed him that we'd tried that and it still wasn't making any one happy that it might just be easier to receive a partial refund and leave. He then became very agitated asking questions after question not allowing me time to answer and when I did start to answer he would interrupt me and ask yet another question. The final straw was when he asked if I even knew golf etiquette? I said I did but didn't really care about it at the current time, he screamed and my friends and I that he didn't have to listen to this. I goaded him a smidgen by stating he hadn't listened to anything because he kept interrupting me. He screamed a couple of profanities practically threw money at me and ordered us to get out. We obliged, packed our belongings, and left. Worst golf experience ever, don't come here if you want a leisurely round of golf. They are more interested in getting as many people on the course to make money than your good time. The course itself wasn't awful but it is very hilly for Florida and the bottom of these hills are practically swamps and nearly impossible to play out of. We left and went to eat lunch and drink beer. As a law enforcement professionals my friends and I have never been spoke to in such an unprofessional manner. We'll never return and I hope that no one else does either, however unrealistic an expectation that may be. read more
