She helped pick out a menu, and she was an active participant, constantly making very useful suggestions. She accommodated our dietary preferences and the occasional fluctuation in headcount. On D-day, the food arrived on time with all promised accessories (heaters, steam pans, label holders). Smriti herself explained to us how to heat up the food. The food was finger-licking good !! We ordered the following: 1. Paneer puffs - beautiful flaky pastry and perfectly cooked paneer inside 2. Malaai chap ke angaare - Almost tasted like chicken kababs. Spicy and perfectly cooked 3. I had an Indian menu and everyone loved the food. There was no dish that folks did not love. There were many snack items that were individually served, looked amazing and tasted even better. We catered for our daughters first birthday party and every single guest was raving about the food! The appetizers, Tandoori Momos, Gilawati Kabab with a beetroot twist, prawns in a shell were gobbled up in no time, appreciated by one and all. Must mention the "chutneys" - Green Mint and Red Chilli one and the White Garlic-y one! The appetizers set the stage for the entrees, a delightful mix of vegetarian and non- vegetarian dishes like Kashmiri Mutton, "Nimbooda" Chicken and Malai Koftas. The chicken dish was an interesting take on the flavors from the state of Gujarat and quite lip smacking. Accompanying these dishes, the bread basket of Garlic Nans, Laccha Parantha and the steamed rice, perfectly complemented the food. Rounding up the dishes were the salad accompaniment's Saving the best for the last, the desserts!
