He informed me about how to improve my daily care in order to stop cavities and gingivitis. I came from another dentist who would just scold and say "you need to floss more". Every 6 months I came in with yet another cavity. After seeing Dr. Knapp the first time and listening to his advice, I haven't had a cavity since!! My favorite line of his goes something like, "I want you to make my job easier". The better I can take care of my teeth, the easier and quicker he can get his job done. The first appointment I had with him lasted about an hour due to the mini consultation. After that, from the time I would enter and leave the office, I would be there for about 30 mins. Dental arts was extremely close five minutes from my house. They put me with a dentist named Sarang Choi, D.M.D. I had such a bad experience! When the dentist checked my teeth she said "oh you have your front two teeth bonded." I never had my teeth bonded and then she did a couple of x-rays and she told me I had a cavity between my front tooth and a second tooth. What an odd spot! She said a lot of odd things and I felt very uncomfortable. I felt like I wanted to get up and walk out, but I didn't. They did not clean my teeth. It was just a check and it was free, which was a good thing cause I wouldn't have want to have paid for what they did. I went back to my regular dentist and they took a full set of x-rays and guess what no cavities.! I honestly don't know what's wrong with this dentist and I would not recommend anybody going to her. I don't think she really knows what she's doing.

Seemingly they have a certain clientele they wish to work with. One was due to "high bp" on a bp machine that wasn't fitting, my husband is very muscular and the cuff wasn't fitting properly (went immediatly to the doctor to confirm and no problem) we called to explain and they want a full cardiologist work up , for a filling. One was due to addressing dental anxiety in chair and the dentist simply wasn't able to understand that and canceled the appointment while I was in the chair with zero explaination except he had "a bad feeling." When we asked for the money back for the initial visit that didn't have services rendered (they charge before appointment) they didn't credit it. When we went to the second appointment and asked again for the credit (substantial amount of money) suddenly the tone shifted and he was very rude. We lost 2 work days because this guy thinks because he has weighted blankets he's an "anxiety professional". Horrible bedside manner when it actually matters. Does anyone have a dentist that ACTUALLY understands anxiety.

I just left a long over due (about a year oops) on Google and figured I would leave one here too…read more When my son was about 2 months old we found out he had a tongue tie. We were recommended to go to Dr. Parmar and going eas the best decision we've made. He fixed a slight tongue tie and a major lip tie we didn't know about either. Sharice and the rest of the staff were ABSOLUTELY wonderful and within 2 weeks I no longer had to supplement, within 2 months nursing was no long uncomfortable and to this day I couldn't be more grateful to this amazing place. Thank you Dr. Parmar and staff and if you're reading this and wondering if you should go I'm telling you to just go there! Couldn't recommend them more. Just to add, the office is super cute and they are do good with babies...which leads me to believe they are just as gold with kids. They are slightly out of our way but now that our son has almost all of his baby teeth we will happily go out of our way to come back here :)
