Mixed feelings about this dental practice: good location, scheduling is ok, dentists are ok, but didn't have a good experience with the hygienist/assistant: The cleaning wasn't thorough, instructions weren't clear, and just generally not the best... also wonder if an assistant actually did the cleaning in lieu of the hygienist. Their followup also wasn't great in terms of verifying insurance and staying on top of the details. With all the dental options out there, they're not going to do well if they don't improve overall. read more

I had an appointment at Pascack dental arts for an initial consultation I was considering changing dentist because my dentist was a little far and passed gas. Dental arts was extremely close five minutes from my house. They put me with a dentist named Sarang Choi, D.M.D. I had such a bad experience! When the dentist checked my teeth she said "oh you have your front two teeth bonded." I never had my teeth bonded and then she did a couple of x-rays and she told me I had a cavity between my front tooth and a second tooth. What an odd spot! She said a lot of odd things and I felt very uncomfortable. I felt like I wanted to get up and walk out, but I didn't. They did not clean my teeth. It was just a check and it was free, which was a good thing cause I wouldn't have want to have paid for what they did. I went back to my regular dentist and they took a full set of x-rays and guess what no cavities.! I honestly don't know what's wrong with this dentist and I would not recommend anybody going to her. I don't think she really knows what she's doing. read more

That's what they did to me for my making a mistake of going to them for a bridge. I got attractive advertisements in the mail and was nailed. I was initially seen as an emergency patient when I chipped a tooth. I was seen the very next day. A temporary crown was made. Three weeks later I had my Permanent crown. Dr. Guller and his staff were professional, efficient and painless. I'm a big baby when it comes to my teeth. They are very sensitive and the drilling and smells upset me. They explained everything, were so understanding and patient with me. They even called after both the Temporary and permanent crown was placed. They wanted to make sure the fit was comfortable and I was okay. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for kind and compassionate dental care. read more

This office is just top notch. Dr Guller and all of the Doctors and hygienists in the practice are excellent. Sue and all of the ladies in the front office are the sweetest and go out of their way to help everyone. The dentistry is exceptional and the level of dental skill and talent is evident in all they do. So many of my friends are patients there as well. The office staff is professional but at the same time warm and friendly. The waiting room, treatment rooms, and grounds are gorgeous and immaculate. Pascack Dental Arts has all of the latest technology available for treatment and lots of nice things like drinks in the waiting room while you wait. It is just such a pleasure as a patient because everyone from front to back is happy, and does an amazing job making you feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr. DiMichele is the best. She's performed fillings on me (what a saint) and each one was quick, effective and painless. A true professional - she's great at what she does and has the best bedside manner of any medical professional I've ever encountered. Also had invisalign work done with Dr. Maria - she's fantastic. We all hate the dentist and if you disagree with that statement then there's something wrong with you. Ever since I was little I was dragged to a dentist and like an obedient soldier suffered the tortures of the damned. When I got old enough to make my own healthcare decisions I did an epic fail and ended up paying the price. So it was time to find one that was actually good....and here we are. The staff is amazing, the doctor's are top notch. They don't berate you and give you lots of options as to how to proceed with dental work. Terrible experience. Made an appointment due to a sensitive tooth. Was told I needed a filling. Returned for that appointment only to develop pain once the Novocain wore off. Called to explain the situation & was told it was "normal" to feel some discomfort after a filling. Decided to wait a day, but the pain only got worse. After several Advils & a night of little sleep, I called the office again. This happened to be right before the holidays, so I was fortunate to reach them...or was I? Anyway, they agreed to squeeze me in, but it was quite evident they weren't happy about it from the attitude I received from the receptionist. The appointment only went downhill from there. Instead of taking an x-ray, the dentist brushed me off by spraying my tooth with some numbing spray. On top of that, I heard the hygienist say, "I told her to floss!" Really?!!!?" After being made to feel like I was overreacting, I left, now angry. It was obvious the dentist & the staff only cared about themselves & going home so they could start their holiday vacation. Well I hope they had a great holiday because mine was miserable! Once the numbing crap wore off, the pain came back & I was left with no option but to pop Advils again. Off course it was impossible to reach any dentist at this time because of the holidays, so I had to wait, in pain. As soon as the local dentist in my town was back, I called him & he got me in right away. He listened to me, didn't rush me, took x-rays, & examined my mouth. Turned out I needed a root canal thanks to the previous dentist drilling too deep & hitting a nerve. I should've sued but I didn't. At this point, I didn't care what it cost, I just wanted the pain to go away. Also, there was no way I was going back to that arrogant butcher of a dentist. Fast forward, the head dentist of the practice called me after word got back to him about what happened. He was very apologetic & offered that I go to his root canal specialist. I told him no thank you; I don't trust you or your recommendations. Obviously, he was only looking out for himself & could care less about me. I hope he at least had the sense to fire that dentist, but who knows with this place. So glad that nightmare is over. The one good thing that came out of all this is that I found a wonderful new dentist right in my town who truly cares about his patients. I'm thankful for that. read more

I usually get nervous about going to the dentist but I felt really at ease here- the staff were super friendly and helped me to understand each step of the process. I had a cavity filled but the process was almost entirely painless. The doctor and assistant were so kind and I was amazed that a trip to the dentist could be so stress free. Pascack Dental Horrors that's what they should be called , really serious the worst dentist place I've ever been too they put me thru so much pain never before have I cried in the dentist chair and they were laughing in the background they screwed me soo bad my worst nightmare came true there so please don't Go. My problems ended up being fixed but not before being injured by yet another dentist at this practice. My gums took 2 weeks to heal because of how rough they were when providing me treatment for a different issue. Owner comped all my follow up appointments and refunded me but overall a sucky experience unfortunately. Ive walked in with one problem and left with another. Owner was mostly nice but did say to me at one point that I wasn't thankful even though I thanked him prior. I am not thankful for all the issues they caused me however. What a great first visit to the dreaded dentist. I absolutely hate the dentist as so many people. The receptionist was extremely friendly and sweet. Hilda the hygienist was wonderful. She was patient and gentle and was very in tune to my comfort. There are tv's in the room which give the room a more comfortable feel not just a cold dentist chair. This group is a bunch of crooks! They represent to us being part of our network which they weren't and then received bills as out of network. They will say anything before work is done and then bill you at the higher rate. They are 40% more expensive than others in area. I would avoid! read more

I was called personally by dr. Guller and he went above and beyond to fix my issue. To me when ever you have the owner of the business call you directly is an amazing experience and it shows the care and value that you have. I will recommend him to anyone. Anyone can make mistakes because we are just human but is about fixing those mistakes and the responsibility that counts. read more

Dr. Maria took care of me today with the most amazing care. I am a huge baby and she made my entire visit seem like a day @ the beach!!! I literally have to go out of my way from Westchester to go there but the staff and their expertise are worth it. It's really quite a shame that nothing is ever good enough for me, well almost nothing! I have a NY snobbery and have always thought the best has to be in the city and the clientele high profile. Had the best of the highest priced cosmetic dentists do bonding on my top and bottom front teeth for years. I then needed a cleaning and I found the closest place to my home in NJ. How much harm can they do i'ts only a cleaning, what an attitude !!. In walks little Amanda my hygienist, who sensed the attitude and with such grace proceeded to let me know there were some areas of concern to her and would I mind if she called in Dr. Patel, still thinking what do they know, I let this Dr. Patel examine me. He then proceeded to inform me of a gap between my bonding harboring bacteria and I should consider removing it and doing veneers. WHAT THE !!!!., but my rock star dentist in the city never said a thing 3 weeks before. O.K OK, I'm getting to the review. Amanda has more knowledge in her little pinky than most dentists. Secretly I think she has dental OCD cause your not out of that chair until your squeaky clean. Dr. Patel besides being an artist is the most patient human being I have ever met. He has the eye ladies and gentlemen and between the two of us has come up with an extraordinary mouth. I be smilin all day. I was very happy with the cleaning I had recently. I'm still getting used to the idea that the high powered water jet is as effective as all of the scraping and picking hygienists used to do. After several bad experiences in Manhattan with dentists I decided that the journey to Montvale might be worth it. Was I ever right! I've had a lot of work done in the past seven years and would only ever go to Pascack Dental Arts if I had to do it all over again. Given the quality of their work I know I won't have to.
