I only rated it good due to being informed in May that someone would be out in June. When the last week of June arrived, we had not heard from the company. We had to reach out to JAMAC to ask if/when to expect the service to be done. It took a day or 2 to get a reply and as a result, the tech was assigned to arrive. We got a call from a very friendly person the day Mark was to arrive with an ETA. Mark arrived in the time frame given and appeared to be thorough with his inspection and maintenance. Overall, we have been very pleased and grateful to have the generator and JAMAC available to keep it in good working order.

Basically, an entire zone wasn't getting any heat and the pump was running hot. Karalis' guy charged me a $135 diagnostic fee to tell me that either the system was air bound, or the pump was bad. I could've diagnosed that myself. He promised to get me an estimate on making changes to the system so that the problem would be resolved. After a few few weeks of not hearing from them, I called and got the owner on the phone. He said that they were looking into it and that they would get back to me with an estimate for the work. It is now been three months. Radio silence. I'm not impressed, I won't use them, and I recommend you don't either.

The owner took the time to go over the parts/repairs needed and answer all of my questions. The price was fair. Moving forward they also recommended a preventive maintenance service to keep the new compressor and other parts of the unit healthy and running strong. Typically their work is quite good but they showed up to replace loose hot & cold water knobs in my…read morebathroom and broke the chain to the tub/shower drain when they removed the faceplate during the job. That's all well and good, it probably happens all the time, but they left the job without telling us it happened! So for over a week my tub would not hold water as there was no drain stoppage happening. Had to call them again. They came back, admitted it was their fault but still made us pay to replace it a couple days later. To this day it still won't stop draining. Even after they supposedly fixed it and made us pay. I have to use a rubber stopper disc. Didn't want to call them again and pay even more money. So I guess I just have a broken bathtub drain until I call a different company. The drain worked 100% fine before they did their original work. Had things been handled differently I would feel that the issue was resolved fairly. However, I believe that they should've paid the small replacement fee themselves considering it was their fault and they inconvenienced me by not reporting the broken drain during the original job. I also feel they could've done a better job of fixing it because it's still not the way it was before they originally broke it. I cannot recommend them based on these issues.
