I believe he and his assistant, Ramon, came out within 48 hours for an on-site consultation. The detailed quote was received within 24 hours of his visit, as promised. We settled on the scope of the work and a convenient date and time for the work to be performed. Rod and Ramon were on time and ensured that everything was accomplished in the same day, even though it meant staying until almost 7pm on a Friday night to get the job done. We had a variety of services performed including the installation of new recessed lighting, troubleshooting some switches, assembly and installation of a foyer chandelier, installation of a new GFCI outlet in our master bathroom, and replacement of a flood light outside of our garage. Rod even helped me move furniture back to its original location after the recessed lights were installed, and plastic sheets and drop cloths were used to cover furniture and carpet from the dust created by cutting holes in the drywall for installation. Rodney responded quickly to my call and was able to give me a very reasonable quote by phone and was able to accommodate my schedule for installation. Joshua and Scotty arrived promptly and were so easy to work with. Besides being very knowledgeable, they were conscientious and polite. They let me know what they were doing along the way, and always gave me options of where to place the fan, the wall outlet, and the fan remote. We had an old electrical panel and wiring in from meter that were faulty. I'm somewhat handy and was unable to install GFCI outlets in our home because they kept tripping. My brother, who is even handier, was in from out of town, looked at the panel and recommended we have it redone. Ramon did an amazing job, and we are so happy with the work and feeling much safer! He also installed the GFCI outlets and new junction boxes where needed. He stayed late to get the job done, and was extremely friendly, informative, and kept me apprised of any changes in the schedule as we had said we were very flexible. i had an emergency when i heard a loud jolt and lost power to half my house. After checking yelp reviews. i called married 2 electric. i received a call back from Rod within 20 mins. After explaining my problem, he told me he should be able to get his guys out today to check it out. Josh and Scott showed up earlier than their projected time and were professional, courteous and explained everything they had to do. It turned out to be a pretty dangerous problem and the fact that they could come out the same day i called and fix it has made me a customer for good. i have dealt with other electricians in the past and as far as pricing, customer service and courtesy goes, married 2 electric is the best. M2E is a-mazing!! I needed a large chandelier hung over my kitchen counter. M2E told me they may have to make a few small holes in the wall when they quoted me. Scott and Stephen spent a lot of time locating the wiring needed and then fishing it to the right area. They were patient with me when deciding the exact hanging location and then adjusting the chandelier height. Not only did they not have to put any holes in the wall. They covered the entire area in tarps and then cleaned up before they left, even using their own vacuum. They even helped me re-hang a painting that needed to be moved while they worked. Due to an accident a few days earlier, PECO told us we needed to have an electric contractor do certain work. We used Yelp to decide on a contractor. The quote with complete details of what would be done, when and how long were given in written form. The day of the work, the contractor arrived, and let us know at each point how the job was going, how long we would be out of electric, etc. We would highly recommend this company to anyone. We had partial electricity outage. I called, and a very nice, knowledgeable gentlemen answered phone. He asked a few questions and immediately told me what could be wrong. He suggested to contact PECO first to see if there was an outage in the area. Since it was a partial outage, we would not think it could be a problem outside the house. When we called PECO, we found out there was an issue in our area. Although we did not use his service, I still very much appreciate his expertise and time spent talking to me.
