Best Experience Ever I've been to many dermatologist in the area over the years. I went to Gunn Dermatology to get a second opinion for options regarding results of biopsies done at another practice. Dr. Holly Gunn is a great physician. What I want and expect from my physician is someone who is a zealous advocate for implementing quality healthcare for their patients. I don't want a physician that beats around the bush, or does not diagnose without conviction. I take offense to the very limited negative reviews, which sounds like it's sour grapes for not acknowledging those individuals' entitlement personalities.I was also very impressed with Caroline and Rachel. I can be hardheaded but I have faith in Dr Gunn and trust her and her knowledge, so I will be very compliant with her instructions. read more

This is a real cute dermatology office in Crestline. They have a wide variety of procedures and skin care lines that they offer . I came here for a medical condition and been back 4 times this past year. The doc and her assistant are pretty amazing , but the staff can be hit or miss. I've had instances where the front staff acted as if they were too important to greet patients when they come in - but then go above and beyond when they seem to know the patient (?maybe a VIP client ?). I scheduled a cosmetic procedure , and they were running late (25 min) . Instead of trying to accommodate me they just offered to rebook me 7 weeks down the road. Needless to say I found a different office for the cosmetic part . Still come back for the doc and the medical stuff though . read more

Dr Holly Gunn is the very best! I have seen Dr Gunn for the last few years, and after following her advice and treatment recommendations, my skin has never looked better! She is a very kind and compassionate doctor, who listens to your concerns carefully. She explains things in easy to understand details, takes her time with her patients, and quickly recognizes problems. Her husband, Dr Stephen Gunn, is also my wonderful doctor in Greystone. Dr. Gunn talked me into a full face filler, as she claimed it lasted longer than just cheek fillers. Well as a consequence I have butterfly shaped scars bilateral below my eyes. Blue and red broken veins below the eyes. it has been two years since I had the full face filler, and the scars are still there. On top of this she keeps billing me for $10 every month. $10.00 dollars for scarring me for life. I'm warning every women do not have the full face filler. I have let them know, and they could have cared less, never offered to have the scars reduced: I wouldn't recommend her because of this. Any other dr. would have offered to help get rid of the scars, no not her. read more

First the good: The staff and doc are very personable, pleasant, polite, and respectful. The office is clean, modern, and convenient -- if a bit overdone and pretentious. The wait time was not inordinate. Not so good: I was quoted a price on the phone for the specific services I requested. When I arrived I was told that the doctor would perform the services and I would be charged accordingly. When I reminded that I was quote a price on the phone and that I did not expect to pay any more unless I specifically requested and received additional services, Dr. Gunn came to assess the situation. She proposed upsell procedures -- which I expected and would have procured except the price for the originally requested procedure was DOUBLE what I was quoted on the phone. The reason given was that it takes twice as much medication for men. Well, it's not like they didn't know I was a man when I got the quote and made the appointment so why not be upfront about it? The gender discrimination aside, bait-and-switch is neither a fair nor legal pricing practice. Did they really think I wouldn't notice that the price doubled or that I wouldn't care? I have no reason to question the capability of the staff but I do question the practice management and its willingness to deal with clients fairly and honestly. Recommendation: Ask LOTS of questions, take good notes, stand your ground or -- men especially -- run in the opposite direction. There are too many good providers of dermatological services to subject yourself to unfair treatment. read more

The most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. Not interested in letting patients participate in their own care. Pushes the expensive meds and won't discuss alternatives. I questioned the need for just one of the several medications, and she became defensive and passive-aggressive. Some near-verbatim quotes from her 15-minute diatribe: "How would you like it if I came into your place of work and started telling you how to do your job?" and "I can't get even get these medications for Medicaid patients, and you're complaining about the cost?" and "Don't you see that scarring? Why wouldn't you want to do everything you could to prevent that?" Would not recommend. read more
