I had my appendix removed here and the doctors were great. I had my son here 2 years ago and we were the only ones there having a baby those few days. 4/5 nurses that were there for us were awesome. I give it 4 stars because I am not a big fan of how close the sick patients are to the new babies. The only thing separating the two wards is a nurses station.

I Have called them three times and they say they didn't bill it wrong. Yet the Doctor and the Anesthesiologist billed them and got paid. they also switched to a new billing program at the time of my surgery. Medicare can't help me. They have to go by what the Hospital bills them for.

They have been able to do so much more here. Where you don't have to go up north to SLC. Nice radiation department, department for individuals doing chemo, or dialysis treatment. Breathing treatment. They have really good doctors here. They have the specialty clinic also, general Surgery. Way good thing here serving central Utah.

So I take my little girl to the ER last night cause she scraped her eye with paint she was scraping…read moreoff paint in old house she cut her eye and the ER doctor gave her medicine for ears and I put the drops in her eye even tho I called and said this is for the ear they insured me it was ok so I put two drops in her eye and it burned her eye so I called the ER and the insured me it was ok well today I called the pharmacy and they said they were wrong I took her to Dr Parker a great eye doctor a real eye doctor and they burn her eye, Evan Christiansen the Hospital administrator gave my child three movie tickets and said they made a mistake and he was sorry. Not good enough. Bad bad bad I could do a better job.

We got the okay from my doctor to leave the area, as long as I got a follow up within 5 days. We ended up here in Salina for a week so went looking for a medical clinic & ended up going to Salina Family Medicine. They did the follow up right away without hesitation. The receptionist was very helpful as was the medical team. My follow up went well so we were able to continue our travels. This eased my mind a lot. I want to thank them for the speediness in their care for a traveler from out of the area. I would go to them again when in the area.

Everything operation/surgeon/nurses-wise, was professional and top shelf…read more BUT, If you are a Senior on Medicare, and you are going to have an operation, you may want to consider getting all of your POST OPERATION "self administered" drugs prescribed by your own doctor BEFORE the operation. WHY? bc if the hospital fills the prescription at the hospital, you will get stuck with a several hundred dollar bill afterwards. It happened to me and it's unecessary. You Take charge of the post operation, self administered drugs yourself, and just pay the small amount paid by your medicare drug plan.
