Not only that, but they didn't bill me then for the tube and service, 100 I believe, and just trusted me with a mailed invoice later. Today I went back as I prepare for a move out of state this month, so I wanted wax guards and a cleaning for my hearing aid. I went as a walk in so I totally understood having to wait as they were with a patient. Well I ended up waiting 45 min or so, which I didn't really mind, but was very pleasantly surprised that they not only walked the aid and was guards out to my car where I had been waiting, but didn't even charge me since she said I "had to wait so long". He tends to speak to me from the other side of our home as opposed to coming closer to say whatever he wants to say. Several years ago I noticed I had been having issues hearing people talk when there were other…read morenoises or conversations nearby. I went to the Hearing Group and they tested my hearing and identified deficiencies at various ranges. They also indicated that I had tinnitus. They discussed several hearing aids, their features and benefits including costs. They also checked my insurance and got the authorization for the hearing aids. They fitted the hearing aids, showed me how to use and take care of them and had me come back several times to check everything and made sure I was comfortable. (the hearing aids were great. The cat tried eating them, they went scuba diving with me and they kept working fine for several years.) After 6 years it was time to retire them. Went back to the Hearing Group, had my hearing checked and got new hearing aids. The doctors were great as always, They discussed the new technology(wow), made recommendations and I have new hearing aids. Better tech, these block unwanted sounds even better. The connect to my iPhone and I can watch TV with the sound at the right level for me without everybody else complaining. I highly recommend the hearing group. Won't let anyone else inside my ears. Staff is welcoming and professional. Called me to remind me for appointment. Everyone there really cares. Worst part is the 45 minute drive to get there, BUT WORTH THE TRIP!!

My son has been coming here since he turned 2 yrs old for speech therapy, and he's improved so much. He loves Nicole, who he's been working with since the beginning (Anissa did his eval). Nicole always takes the time to inform me about what they are working on, and she sticks to the curriculum even when he's being resistant. My one criticism is that the woman at the front seems a little overwhelmed, and the office is a tad disorganized (they didn't forward the paperwork they received from his initial eval to Anissa at our first visit). Not unusual and the pros far outweigh any cons. It's not crowded, and the therapists really know what they're doing. I highly recommend this place.

Vision coverage through insurance has become so confusing and limiting to choice of covered providers. So it has been many years since I was happy and satisfied with the optometrist's expertise and customer service. So we are thankful to have found Oakland Vision Center. Your eyes are pretty darn important to your life so don't mess up going to a optometrist who may not be up to par and may not have the correct diagnostic equipment. I chose Oakland Vision Center for several reasons, so I made an appointment. When I walked in the office I saw the office staff were helping one elderly lady. They were helping her with kindness, just like they would do for their grandmother. I was answering questions as a new customer when the phone rang. She answered the phone and asked them to hold on while continuing to helping me. Then soon after, one worker came out from back and asked her to help the person on the phone, and she took the tablet to continue filling out the form for me. They work together to provide the best possible service for all their customers. When I was selecting a frame for my glasses, one lady helped me find the frame I was looking for. Our family absolutely loves Speech and Hearing Associates. Their entire staff is caring,…read moreprofessional, and great at what they do. My daughter came at 18 months with a very big speech delay. She understood every word but her expression was on a 9 month level. The office manager Jackie was incredibly helpful scheduling an evaluation even though we had to work with snow storms and my daughter being sick too. She has also been top notch filing all the claims with insurance. Jackie is also the nicest office manager and seriously runs a tight ship! Our therapist is Francesca and I cannot say enough amazing things about her. From the first session she was so warm, full of energy, and determined to help my daughter express herself and communicate with us. Francesca has gone above and beyond as well. She has met with our Early Intervention specialist after office hours and reached out to our preschool teachers as to how they can effectively get my daughter to talk more. Francesca has built up my daughters confidence so she feels better talking to us and others outside of our home. We are so thankful for all the work she puts in each week and how much she also challenges my daughter to work harder at speech. We are so glad to have found a great speech practice to bring our daughter to.
