Driving around Brentwood looking at homes (considering a move out here) I saw signed for Gursky Ranch within what looked like your typical suburban neighborhood with rows and rows of similar looking homes. I was curious what is was all about so followed the signs and made a quick stop in. Although the surrounding area is no longer true ranch land, they still had a small lawn and orchard along with the main shop. Friendly greetings and all the socially distanced and sanitizing protocols in place. I saw rows of locally made jellies, candies and most of all honey! I picked up a large jar of their honey for $8.99 and it's wonderful. Cute little store filled with locally made goodies-would definitely be a regular if I lived closer. We stumbled upon this nice little shop after browsing the Best of Brentwood catalog. I love that this is so close to me and that we can stop in to get fresh jams, dip and soup mixes, and the peanut brittle is delicious! I missed being able to get these items every year at the local art and wine festivals in the peninsula, so now I feel spoiled that I can go whenever I want during the year! read more

Grandma makes us take special trips here so she can buy nuts and olive oil. Kind of special for them because that means my grandma comes all the way from Arizona just to come here. I only briefly checked the store out because my baby needed to be fed. There were some dried kiwis that looked enticing but I knew I would forget them in my pantry with in a few days. I'm sure in harvest times there are more options and fun stuff but it's unfortunately winter around here. Grandma found her nuts and oil and was very happy. The down side, no matter how many visits we make, the woman working there never gets happier or nicer. I hope she has a nice day. Because no matter what we enjoy coming here. read more

Came out here with the purpose of getting some local honey, I when I say local honey, I am not referring to some easy man standing on the corner.., Anyway, I had passed the sign for this farm MANY times in the past 10+ years and was looking for an excuse to go in. My excuse? Allergy season will be here before I know it and I need to boost my immune system, not to mention all the other awesome things honey can do for you!! I met Lynn Gursky as soon as I came in-SUPER sweet woman that is a walking book of knowledge. Lots of tips about using her products. I would have lived to talked with her longer but I know she us busy and I need to get home. I will be needing more honey so I will be back in for another day of cool info! Came in for just honey and left with whole almonds and lime marmalade and could have left with more. People, check her out and GET HEALTHY!!! read more

A friend lives in the area and I am constantly driving by this place with the intention of always wanting to go in to take a look, but never had the opportunity until this afternoon. It was a nice walk from her house and the Gursky Ranch was beautiful and well kept. We followed the path until we saw the store on the left, and the family's home on the right. We had the opportunity to meet Mr. Steve, who was very friendly and told us the history of the property and the types of produce grown there. It was quite the learning experience as well; to hear about a city's growth from farmland into what it is today and how much things have changed was fascinating. The store was small and quaint, but had a good selection of nuts, dried fruits, jams, candy, gift baskets and other goodies! The prices are fair and the quality is great! Steve mentioned that we came during off-season, but the ranch should be expecting more visitors during October. We left purchasing some delicious treats for the walk back. The corn nuts, watermelon candy, and milk chocolate peanut butter cup left me wanting more. I am so glad to have finally visited, and will definitely be stopping by more! read more

Came here for some local honey due to allergy season but didn't think my mom and I were going to come back with an apple pie. Best decision ever made. I'm not really a fan of apple pie but this one is really good so much that I crave for it now haha anyway were coming back here tomorrow for that pie since they are closed Mondays. read more

I'm so disapointed in Gersky Ranch in Brentwood. Not only was the elderly woman who works the cashier was completely unfriendly unwelcoming which through me off of my yearly Christmas shoping experience but the dried fruit all natural I traded vs Sulfer dried fruit has a Warning Sticker that says "This product may contain a chemical that causes cancer. Birth defects!!! NOT NATURAL AT ALL! HELL No! I'm returning this product and not returning here again. read more

This is definitely a hidden gem. I only happened to see signs for it because I took a wrong turn. It's located within a neighborhood of beautiful homes, so I'm not sure if I would have known it existed otherwise. There were signs leading to it at the entrance of the neighborhood, but those were the only ones I noticed. This is one of those places where you just have to visit to see what they have. I found all sorts of fun stuff such as local honey, flavored olive oils, pepper jellies (in a ton of flavors such as pomegranate, cranberry, apricot, etc. - already tried two and I am going back soon for more!), nuts, and a whole section towards the back of baskets they put together perfect for gift giving. Driving down the road and saw the sign for this charming country store ranch. There's a paved driveway surrounded by manicured trees of the walnut variety. I'm always in need of the local honey for my allergies and this ranch serves plenty in addition to home-made varying jelly. My children and I are looking forward to The Gursky Ranch walnut picking season in mid-autumn. read more

I've been coming to Gursky Ranch store for many years and always love finding great quality nuts, olive oils, and other speciality items. My favorite is the orange honey almonds. I bought a jar of the Meyers lemon curd yesterday and it was amazing! Really good! Love trying new food items. Also get my honey there too. Great store! read more
