My experience with David Oliver & Associates was always very professional. I sought his help…read morebecause I had made it as far as I could on my own capability's navigating the disability application process after first being denied, then denied again on the the first appeal. After that the Dshs appropriately said it might be time to seek the help of an attorney moving forward. His law office caught my eye from his good reviews, years of experience, and also the fact that his cases are all about helping the disabled prove there cases in court. Our first appointment was in person and to bring with whatever paperwork and facts I could provide at the time. It went well, and I was able to retain his services for representation. Now I think some people need to understand that he and his offices are dealing with many cases at a time so there is no need to pester him or his staff constantly. If you are his client you are on the radar and in good hands. His office will keep you in the loop during the long drawn out disability process. Our next meeting was via phone conference where he let me know that he had drawn up some specific questionnaires to bring to all the pertinent doctors ( ie: physical therapist, primary care provider, mental health doctors ) to help him present my disability case. As my ALJ date neared .... we had a pre-hearing meeting a few weeks prior to my court date. A few days after, the courthouse contacted his office to let them know that my day in court was postponed without a specific reason that was shared to us. Ebonne, his paralegal, informed me that we would have to get a new court date and that it would be about 2 more months in the future to get on the calendar. They contacted me of the new date as soon as it was confirmed with ALJ court scheduling. We then set a pre-hearing conference appointment about 1.5 weeks prior to our new court date where we refreshed his brains on my case and went over all the paperwork he received from my doctors. He made me feel at ease with the stress that continually builds when filing for disability. On our day in court we both arrived early to speak with each other, then we went into court and he presented my case. I gave my testimony when the judge asked me his questions. The judge then got the testimony of the states vocational expert. When I was finished with that part, they had me go ahead and leave the courtroom while they finished up with whatever else goes on. He then met me in the waiting area and let me know that we had won our case and that it would be approximately 2-4 months to start receiving my disability benefits, and if I had any questions going forward that I could call his office anytime. I signed some final paperwork and that was it. This evening while I write this review I can say that there is definitely a relief that comes over you when all goes the way it should, knowing that I will be able to handle my bills and life while I continue my journey towards better health and dealing with my disabling condition. I can't thank David Oliver and his law office enough for helping me through and showing me that there is light at the end of the disability tunnel. -J. Frasier

Don't waste your time on this place. I wasted time money…read moreand gasoline to meet with them, I would be told things I could've been easily told over the phone. This is odd to me that such a place would request an in person visit, especially when they know you are in a ton of pain and ambulatory only with assistance, such as crutches, which I was. I won't go into all the minutia of every detail, but what I experienced was pure, disrespect, and was treated as if I had done something bad by going to them to request their help. The main attorney, didn't catch his first name, seem to only have me there to use as an experiment to help train a "new attorney" that was there, although late, And just show some kind of superiority over me. All I wanted was someone to explain to me what my options are. Since I've never had a workplace injury and L&I isn't helpful, after meeting this POS narcissist, who could do nothing more than talk in circles, I would recommend navigating L&I on your own. This is not the first time, in fact, I was looking to replace the second lawyer I had hired. The first two just had no ability to communicate anything. In the beginning, they want your money, but if there's anything short of them making a fortune they just don't give you any attention. To top it off, the building this "attorney" operates out of is old and has no visible disabled parking, which I find odd since they specialize in workplace injury. Allegedly. Next is just the office isn't clean and hasn't been updated in decades. The smell of old musty dusty office isn't very inspiring, especially when you're going to be talked down to and treat it like crap, just by asking their advice or potentially wanting to hire them. Reading some of the other reviews, which I should've done before I went there, I never would've gone. Extremely unpleasant, an absolutely useless.

Let me start off by saying what this law firm did for me. They changed the quality of my life. I…read morewas involved in a very nasty worker's comp claim with my employer at the time and I felt the lowest point in my life. I walked into their office in 2016. They took my claim (Special thanks to David)....all the way to the BIAA court in 2021and then defended me from my employer appealing/countersuing me in Pierce County Superior Court. For five long years and countless hours worked by Attorney Jennifer and Paralegal Phiona (as well as others) I paid NOTHING. ZERO. NADA. They believed in my claim so much that I never had a bill from them during the entire process. Once I won my claim (through the hard work of Jennifer and Phiona) it was six-figures. They gave me an itemized bill that was very fair and was deducted from the payout. Moreover, Jennifer won my case with prejudice (The employer can never come at me again) along with a handsome monthly WA State L&I Pension....FOR LIFE!!! Thanks again to Jennifer and Phiona. You two are Saints, in my book. If you have a legit worker's comp claim, SDI claim or personal injury I strongly recommend this law firm. On the flip side, if you're an ambulance chaser or looking for a quick buck do yourself and this law firm a favor and move on. They deal with claims their entire lives and can smell B.S. at the front door. If you are currently dealing with a worker's comp claim, SDI or personal injury my best advice to you is to lawyer up...and lawyer up early. The process is corrupt (especially self-insured employers) and heavily favors them as they have deep pockets. They will come at you in ways you haven't even imagined (I was under surveillance EVERYWHERE for over a month at one point). You cannot navigate the process alone.
