I always have fun and even though I have absolutely no artistic ability, I always come home with a masterpiece. We recently did a private party there for my birthday and we cant't wait to do that again! Our favorite instructor, Megan, is an amazing artist and made the steps so easy for us that even the young woman with autism that was with us was able to follow along and go home with a beautiful painting. We brought our own snacks, but the wine, beer and hard cider available for purchase is the icing on the cake. People of all ages can and SHOULD enjoy this very cool business. What truly sets the Water View Inn apart, though, is the atmosphere and hospitality. We drove through a storm to get to this restaurant to be disappointed. We had to ask our waitress for everything that should have been automatic--napkins, refills and we were never given any silverware. Our water and lemonade was served in plastic disposable cups, not glasses. No dessert on Sundays. The biggest turn off is when I ordered a margarita with a salted rim and was brought a strawberry daiquiri with a sugar rim in a large water glass. (But we wasn't served water and lemonade in a glass ). She tried to convince me it was a margarita and it's the glassware they use for drinks. It wasn't my first margarita and I knew better. So I sent the drink back and ordered a bottled beer instead. The food was good, though. We were not impressed. Won't be going back there.
