Today, as a self pay patient, the doctor and his staff once again treated me with the utmost respect, were willing to consider my financial situation (instead of pushing me into something), and worked with me to get a treatment plan that suited me, my finances, and the future of my teeth. I've had extractions, cleanings, and root canals at Dr Moore's office, and everyone there is so kind and knowledgeable, I just won't go anywhere else. I haven't needed it, but they do provide sedation dentistry for folks who have a dental fear. I would recommend them to anyone. His office is on Roan right next to Boones Creek Pharmacy (another great local business), he's a Tennessee native, and a veteran. Make an appointment.

By the grace of God my grandmother was getting her teeth cleaned at Dr. Moore's office at the same time all of this was going on, and Dr. Moore calmed her down and told her to have me come to his office. So I left that oral surgeon's office and drove straight there. Dr. Moore stayed after his office closed just to help me out. He basically did a root canal just so I wouldn't be suffering in pain. I had my employer cancel everything that was scheduled by that oral surgeons office and the next day Dr Moore's office got me in and gave me a temporary crown and veneer. He had me send him emails of pictures showing my teeth and had exact replicas made. You would never know my front teeth aren't real today. That was in 2015 and I still only trust him with my teeth and will only come here from now on. To say he is the best dentist around wouldn't be enough. He is a great dentist and an even better person for all that he's done for me. I would tell anybody that needs a dentist to go to him!

I've never been to a dentist that forces additional expenses treatment beyond a standard cleaning. I understand recommending and offering, but forcing patients to pay for hundreds of dollars of services they do not want is unethical. My first appointment I just believed them that I really needed it and paid (I often put off stuff for myself), but my entire family just so happens to also need all this expensive additional service and no option to choose a standard cleaning. I will take my business to a more ethical practice. I've spoken to other practices in town who agree this isn't right.
