Matt installed new gutters on our home. He arrived on time, did the work in a timely manner, and thoroughly cleaned up before he left. He suggested that we install a "rain catcher" on the front porch to prevent water teaming down on the porch in heavy rains. Terrible work and even worse follow up. Basically a smooth talking grifter who won't return calls after his work leaked badly after 1 week. I'll be filing a contractor's board complaint. This local business owned by Matt Brown came highly recommended. I needed new gutters and I wanted covers installed also so the gutters would not have to be cleaned. Matt installed the gutters and I assumed also the screen to cover them. Several months later I discovered the gutters were not covered. I contacted him and explained this to him and he was very apologetic and assured me he would make this right. He said he would clean out the gutters and then install the screen. This has not happened. I have contacted him many times. My son and daughter in law have also talked to him. He makes all kind of promises but never follows through. He has out and out lied time and time again. It has been over a year and I am tired of dealing with him. He is not trustworthy and if he treats others as he has me he will not be in business much longer. My only recourse as I see it is to find someone reputable to finish the job that Matt started. I shouldn't have to do this, but as a senior citizen, I can't climb on the roof and clean out the gutters myself. I hope Matt will discover Karma and Karma will get the last word! BEWARE. We have had our gutters done & patio screened in by Matt Brown, Gutter Done Seamless. He did a very professional job on both. However, we gave him a deposit for our fence in September and we still do not have a fence! At first we were told it was a supply & demand issue. Ok I get it, but since mid October he has not been answering my calls or txts. So my husband called from his phone and Matt answered not knowing who it was. We were given more excuses and were told he would get back to us in a couple of days..... well it's been another 2 weeks and he is not answering either of us. I had my gutters done in September,2020. Matt (the owner) came recommended by a friend. He did his assessment with photos which I would have liked to have met him, but I knew I would be here when he came. We discussed what he was going to do and I kept asking him to put another downspout in the front of my house to take water off the roof and another one on the side by the front door. He convinced me to wait and see how much rain came through what was in place, but if I felt they were needed he would return and add them. There have been some heavy rains and I texted Matt on October 15,2020 and asked him to return and put the other downspouts as he promised. I also called him and left messages to the same. I just texted him again on December 8,2020 after a heavy rain storm and asked him again to return. He never answered. I have also learned from my friend who recommended him, that these gutters get a black stripe on them and need to be cleaned. I wish I knew this I would have gone elsewhere. He's not a man of his word! He got a lot of customers from me installing his gutters. He also gave me a quote and added "It probably won't be that much". Well, it was that much!!! I am so disappointed in Matt and now know his word means nothing. If you use him, make him do everything you want when he is there, because he won't come back. I don't like writing bad reviews, but I paid him the full amount, I trusted his word, I got him other customers. I was also told if I referred other customers I would get a discount, I got NOTHING!!!!! All I want is to have the other downspouts put on and I will rewrite the review.
