I have been putting off getting new gutters until they were starting to bend and fall apart at the seams. I finally started to get estimates. I called five different companies and Gutters unlimited just happened to be the first to come and give me an estimate. Clue Barnes came out and was very personable, polite and professional. He gave me a written estimate, his card and showed me a sample of the materials he would be installing. I was very impressed with Clue as he answered all my questions and left me the company brochure and a copy of the estimate. I had four more companies come out to give me an estimate and not one was as professional as Clue was. Even though Gutters Unlimited was a little higher than the rest I went with them and I am so happy I did. The workers were on time very polite and well organized with the work they did. PJ and TJ were the techs that installed the gutters and did a fantastic job. They explained everything to me about how long it would take to install and all the questions I need answered. Horrible service. They quoted me saying it's no problem fixing my gutters. Then gave me no direction when they were coming mount. Called me telling me they were going to be there on a day that I'm off. When I was away they called me saying they can't fix it. Was the repairmen. It we a customer service person. She couldn't give me a reason why (reasonable on). I ask if I can talk to the repairmen. She said they don't have a cell phone. She told me they were at my house. So I told her I would meet them there. Then she said they left. I said how do you know if they don't have a phone. She started giving me crap excuses. I call someone else that day. They were out two days later. Fixed it 3 days afterwards. I personally will never recommend, or do business with them. read more

They lost my business. I had a neighbor give a strong recommendation for this company and called a few weeks ago for an estimate. At that time, the gutter installation was dependent on potential to replace the roof. I was told by the salesman, Clue Barnes they could do the work with just a week or so notice. Now several weeks later I'm ready to proceed and have the roof replacement set for mid October. When I called the office today I get a whole other story. They're backed up 8-9 weeks and have been since January. If they can't keep the story straight from an estimate to scheduling, how is anyone supposed to trust them? read more

I have an apartment buildings in Cocoa Beach and I had this company put up some new gutters along the back. It looked nice but the one end is loose so when the wind blows it rattles. It is so loud my tenant can't sleep. I called to get it fixed early in the week she told me next week. So I called next week she tells me next week. I am very disappointed. I will never use this company again. My son recommended them. I've used them twice. It's too bad I had to write this but they don't care. read more

There were no surprises from beginning to end. There was excellent communication & they made sure it was done the way you wanted. Preston & Kenny were very personable & knowledgeable of their job. I would recommend this company. BTW, they have a cash & credit payment--the difference is, there is a tremendous amount of savings if you pay cash (& it can be paid on the day of the job). Gutters Unlimited was very professional about scheduling and estimating the replacement of our gutters. Sadly their origninall execution differed drastically. Despite my concerns during installation that the gutter was back pitched I was assured it was level and at most might hold ¼ inch of water. Since the installer was using an extremely short torpedo level my concerns sustained. Unfortunately I was unable to check the gutters before paying since the caulking was still drying. The following day my concerns were confirmed when after filling up the gutter I saw that it was holding a whopping 2 1/2" of water. Being a retired builder, what I find most aggravating is that before the installer began I pointed out my concerns and recommended that he pitch and return the gutter the opposite direction. After informing the office of this problem I was told the installer would be out next week. (follow-up) As committed even after my bad review they did show up and repaired as necessary to drain water properly. read more
