If you're looking for a shopping experience that includes name brands and high quality, but you're also looking for something a bit more high touch than a regular Goodwill store, the GW is the spot. This is like shopping at a full boutique but you're getting prices that are similar (but still higher) than Goodwill. It's Goodwill Plus. We has a very pleasant time today, trying on a couple pairs of jeans but not finding any we liked. The store is neatly organized and arranged by color. A belt did make the cut and is now in the closet at home. A nice selection of dressy men's wear too. If I needed a new suit or sportcoat, this is the spot. We'll definitely be back. I enjoyed shopping here and would do so again! The store's layout is perfect if you have a specific color in mind (ex. need white clothes for a bridal shower or a white party). Otherwise, give yourself time to peruse, since the clothing is organized by color rather than size. It does hurt a bit when you find something you really like only to realize it won't fit you. They have recognizable brands (ex. Ann Taylor, Chicos, Express), and quality generally ranged from good to excellent, with some pieces still with tags. You should make sure to look over the clothing before you purchase, as we found some that were faded or with defects. Most items I saw are priced at $9.99, and I bought some Lily Pulitzer pants for $13.99. I also got some men's short-sleeve button-down shirts for my husband ($4.99-9.99). The store is mostly women's clothing (dresses, tops, pants, jeans, athletic) and a smaller men's section, along with shoes, some jewelry, and home décor (ex. art, vases). I didn't see a sale/clearance rack - maybe those items get sent to the regular Goodwill. read more

I had NO clue I was in a Goodwill! I thought GW were the initials for a fancy investor. The staff were helpful, the selection was color coordinated (soothes my OCD) and the prices for name brand items had me in shock! Why spend hundreds for a few items when you can get an entire wardrobe for the same price?! I love this place! read more

We saw a Tiktok about this shop and drove almost an hour to get there. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. They had great quality clothes and home goods for fractions of their retail prices. I got two Columbia zip up vests, three Under Armor polos, and a nice PFG golf shirt and only spent $50. I couldn't even get one of the vests retail for that little. My daughters found Abercrombie shorts and tops, designer shoes and purses, and even a Lily Pulitzer beach bag. My youngest daughter at the last minute grabbed a Seiko watch that retailed for over $400 for just $9.99! Our entire bill was just over $100. It's definitely worth a visit. The associates never stopped bringing new products out the entire time we were there. We'll definitely be back! read more

I had been to a Goodwill boutique once before on the West Coast so excited to get an opportunity to experience this concept again. It's just a few minutes from the airport and downtown Charlotte. It is easy to reach from the main road. As other goodwill boutiques are set up. This is the same. It is more like your standard retail store experience with how the displays are laid out. It had no thrift store smell. The store was medium sized. They are organized by color so you will have to look through the racks to find your size. They had a very good selection of clothing, shoes and accessories and minimal housewares. The pricing was also fair for the quality of items that they offer. This review is overdue. I had been meaning to stop by since the Wilkinson Blvd location closed. I stopped by on Monday, 11-28-23. I like how most items are color coordinated in sections. Visited this Good Will Boutique today and loved it! The store has an organized layout and is completely color-coded with trendy pieces. They have everything from shoes to tops, jackets, pants and handbags (and jewelry). There's a small men's section as well. Pros: The store is clean and unscented. The prices are reasonable, too! Con: Only discounts for senior citizens but there's no point system for customers otherwise. read more

Not a lot of jewelry but we did find several pair of earrings and a necklace. Not a lot of plus sizes, and the arrangement by color means it takes longer to shop. There were lots of Ann Taylor Loft and Talbots items and I did pick up a few shirts and dresses. The most expensive item was $15.95. read more

This place is disappointing. You would think that being a "boutique" they would only carry nicer items, but it was fairly underwhelming. The men's clothing section is basically nonexistent, and some of the pricing is unreasonably high. As far as furniture and other decor items, they don't really have anything. This thrift shop has a good selection of clothing and household items. It's a boutique style goodwill. It is nice that it doesn't necessarily feel like a small warehouse full of clothes you have to sift through for days. There are definitely some gems in the store. Unfortunately I do think that this store is priced a bit high in most cases. I get that it should be priced a bit higher than the regular goodwill store, but some of the items are quite a bit more. read more

I have come here many times and I've never had a problem here. When I came here today, I asked for a small discount on one of the items because it was stained. They really show on black clothing too. I told Mary that (it might come out or it might not) and she went to check with her manager Arcella, who was in the back while Mary took care of the front. First of all, if she gave me a dollar off, I would've been happy. But since Arcella must not have want to come to the front to talk to customers, I'm not coming back. I'll find other cool thrift stores but the managers here stink at their job. At least they played decent music today. But again, not coming back for a long time. I'm not happy about that. Such a great little gem in the heart of Charlotte! We did not know this GW was a boutique shop, and was pleasantly surprised to find gently used really good quality stuff there. We bought 2 dining chairs for $40, which would've cost us triple that anywhere else. We will surely be back for more rare dig and finds. read more
