Shaws Septic Service just pumped out our extremely full tank with actually same day service. We were getting water on the basement floor almost every day and it under pressure since the boxes had water on top. We just installed a water softener system because of the metal in the water and having a newborn in the house. The metal was within safety limits, for adults but not taking a chance on the little guy. Anyway the purge of the system was putting pressure on the line and relief valve was going off and spraying the water. Called this morning and they came out about 5pm and pumped out the tank. Did a great job, had an auger type device to loosen the solids, took off another cover to clear the filter and made sure everything was flowing as it should. All this and the cost was very fair. It's summer, it's hot, and the trash, well it just doesn't do that good in the dumpster for 2 weeks. I called Shaw's and they said that the guys are beating the heat and coming pretty early. My bad, I KNEW that I should put it out the day before. I assure them that I can wait another week. Bam! Ten minutes later a call back, we can pick it up now for you, and sure enough there he is taking care of business. These folks were great all around. They were so nice on the phone when I called to inquire about a dumpster. They were very prompt and gave me a courtesy call when they were on their way (on schedule) and picked up the dumpster when they said they would. I will use them again without hesitation. read more
