DO NOT sign a contract with this company. They will fill your bill with "Garbage" fees. They charge…read moreyou for the gas they use in their trucks. If there's trash peeking out of your dumpster, they hit you with an overage fee, that's $92. If someone else throws a trash bag into your carboard dumpster, that's $150 contamination fee. Our contract said we would receive locks which would have prevented the multiple contamination fees, but no locks were provided. The dumpster that was delivered doesn't even have a lock bar or a chain on the lid for a lock to be placed. They will quote you one price in the beginning, but once the fees accumulate, the monthly bills fluctuate like crypto. The real bill could be three times what they estimated you in the beginning. After reviewing some of the statements we noticed multiple billing errors. "Well as least they pick up your garbage on time". Nope, pickup delay after delay that causes your garbage to be overfull and then they "mistakenly" charge you for overage unless you catch it on your monthly statement. "Well, if your unhappy just cancel". No worries, they'll just charge you 6 months times the average of your last 6 inflated monthly bills. Like in our case they are threatening a $4,700 termination fee. We asked for leniency, being a 12-year customer, but the Account Manager RON DESMARIAS said his bosses would not allow. Which is on par with the greed. No worries it'll get taken care of; In addition, I'll just be driving around on the weekends looking for Republic dumpsters to talk with owners about my experience hopefully catching them before their contract auto renews. Its been over a month since we requested cancellation and it still doesn't seem like its underway. This service is not small business friendly and the terms are predatory. It's not worth the headache. Garbage is a simple expense, and should not be a 2nd job to manage. They prey on you signing, locking you in, hope you forget about it, and then threaten you with a large termination fee if you want to cancel.

There is little to no organization and no attention to detail. Several of our orders "got lost" or were "back ordered" and some were inaccurate after being promised a delivery date. We ended up having to pay for items that were 3 months late! The only positive thing, was their price. But in the end, the extra work and expenses we incurred, including renting furniture to cover for late items, and then having to pay for items that were 3 months late and we no longer wanted because we had already purchased replacements from a new vendor, helped us re-learn, you get what you pay for. If you roll the dice and do business with this firm, make sure you have a delivery commitment date that allows you to cancel with no penalty ... but I recommend going elsewhere.

Another 1 star rating for Mr Trashman. I am on an every other week schedule. Last week the trash…read morebin did not get fully emptied. I just called to see if they can empty the bin this week since they will be driving by my house tomorrow. I was told that they would not empty the bin tomorrow because I did not call soon enough! No explanation was given on why the timing of my call effects their level of service. The BIGGEST surprise was how little Mr Trashman cared about me, the problem or my business with them. It may be time to look for a new trash pick up service which is unfortunate and totally avoidable.
