The store was not crowded and the fall merchandise was featured in the front of the store. They had several sales in place and the summer clearance rack was an additional 50% off. The selection was limited, but I was able to find a couple cute things. The try on rooms are nice with a little bench. The clerk put my name on the door. The clerks are friendly and helpful. The checkout clerk offered to check other stores for a shirt I wanted in a smaller size. I bought a couple things. I think if you join their rewards program, you get extra benefits, but I didn't want anymore stuff in my email. It's hard to get nearby parking unless you get there early.

The shop is on the west end of the main outlet complex (on the right side of the street). Inside, the shop looks much like the other Chico's I've been in. The clothes seem targeted towards more upscale/professional wear and for women who have careers, not teens. They do have their own sizing which is just another challenge to guys who like buying clothes as gifts for their wives/partners. Seriously, I think women's clothing stores come up with all these different categories and sizes just so that women can escape for some alone time without their spouses! ;) Anyway, my wife was able to pick up what sizes translate to her and found several items. She also likes that they have a nice accessory area to help complete the look. A decent store for women. From what I can tell, each shop gets mostly different items based upon their sales hierarchy. This week, I snagged a Halloween shirt for my favorite monster and some summer clearance for my aloha girl. Everything was on sale, with additional markdowns and decent prices. They have a reward program that gives additional discounts (but also means you get more email. The clerks are friendly and efficient. We were welcomed when we walked in the store. There is limited parking out front so you can plan on a little walk. The store is wheel chair and stroller friendly, but inside is a bit tight.

You can get some decent deals here, but don't expect to leave with bags full of unreal bargains. I think I spent around $17 on a couple outfits. The store is also tiny and not at all designed to handle the stroller traffic, so expect a lot of eyerolls from rabid shopping mommies who are in a big fat hurry and need you to get out of their way, like, now.

The store is located near the front of the Edinburgh (Premium) Outlet Mall. We arrived early and found close parking. The store must have been short handed as the usual welcoming clerk was. It there. I easily found the summer sale shelves, which had a decent selection of soaps with nearby testers. I grabbed an assortment after testing. The scents are subtle, not overpowering. The checkout clerks were a little slower than usual, but friendly and got me checked out. I'll be back.

Walking in to the shop you immediately got the holiday vibe. Most of the shop was dedicated to Christmas and it was do much fun checking out all of the holiday ornaments and the decor. I really loved the tall Christmas trees made out of old doors, people are ingenious. There were snow globes and mittens and so many fun things here.

The Blackbird Nest specializes in redesigned modern, antique and vintage furniture along with home decor, lamps, new clothing, bath and body products, prints, florals and wreaths plus holiday decor. The shop has several smaller rooms with various items incorporated throughout but items are organized well and prices are clearly marked. I liked seeing furniture, clothing, home and holiday decor all tastefully arranged together in each space. The store has a few narrow isleway's but most are spacious enough to browse comfortably down. They do have a dressing room to try on clothing you are interested in. I was shopping for a particular color of a dress and I did not find it but still found a pretty skirt, shirt, and jeans. It has been a long time since I shopped in a Marshall's and I had forgotten that they had food items and cookware. I ended up purchasing a few items including cookies and hot sauce. It was interesting all of the cookware available and home decor items. The skirt I purchased was on the clearance aisle so I thought it was good price wise. When I got up to the counter there were a couple people in front of me but I did not wait long as they had enough cashiers to help get everyone through the line pretty quickly. The line behind me grew and they called another cashier up to help out. I will stop in again to get my fill of snacks.
