They let you set up 30 minutes beforehand and the 2 party hosts were very friendly and welcoming. From my initial reach out via email and calls to my final follow-up, they may not be able to get back right away but always by the next day so their follow up is good and that makes a mommy like me happy and less stressed. The party hosts were so patient and great with kids. All the kids felt comfortable and I did not remember a tear from any of the kids; that is a win! I paid with a credit card for the party. It was very easy. They also have a monthly kids night out (aka 'parents' night out' depending on what you're used to) where you drop the kids off there for 3 hours and the parents can have a date night or if the kids just really like to have some fun games, this is like the best party ever and it's only $25 per child. That is a nice mental note to have if you're looking for a babysitting service for a 3 hour night out but can't find one. With this alternative way, they get to play with other kids. I think the kids night out requirement is they have to be at least 3 years old and independently potty trained. We've also utilized their open play during the week so it is great for the little ones too. Pacific Flips, don't change the training of your staff for parties or keep these very two party hosts that we had as long as you can. They are gems!

Unfortunately Girls Inc. of Goleta is a business for profit solely and NOT customer orientated…read more Employees are not passionate, under paid and are only present for a paycheck. I question if some of the instructors are prior gymnasts based on their poor instruction. One-on-one lessons are none existent even though they verbally say, private lessons could possibly be offered. The employee turnover is high and employees do NOT greet clients with a smile. It's a conveyor belt customer business. Girls Inc represent's the shallow society we now live in. Ice in Paradise which is a local NHL ice rink has much more talented teachers, more hours to practice the sport and overall a more professional operation. That's why I'm willing to spend $3000 a month at Ice In Paradise and only $30-$60 a month at Girls Inc. Girls Inc seems to be in decline as their downtown facility closed due to lack of funds to remodel and leadership did not lead correctly in various negotiations. Sad to witness Girls Inc slowly sinking. Their website has many flaws, not user friendly and when brought to staff attention. The staff could care less and response is a smart a$$ rebuttal! I witnessed why staff are paid poorly. Their staff have written reviews as employees with negative reviews of Girls Inc on Indeed. The staff have a bad attitude towards the customers who pay their wages. I find it interesting people are able to login prematurely before registration opens and signup for classes prior to registration time. This operation is unprofessional on many levels. I will NOT be surprised this location closes in the future as the downtown location did.

Huge shoutout to Valeria who goes above and beyond for every kid there and has a smile on her face all the time( I love my daughter but even I can't smile that much) and the remainder of the staff is amazing as well. Great place, teaching the next generation life lessons while helping them have fun and make friendships

We live this place! My son and daughter take classes here weekly with friends and love it. But…read morethat's not why I'm writing this review. Today we had our twins 6th birthday at the gym. I wasn't sure what to expect. Being a classroom teacher, I'm used to organizing and running my own birthday parties but after today, I'm never doing that again. Having our party here was SO easy and fun. We invited 18 kids so we had 20 kids there. The teachers divided them up into three groups and they rotated. They did a rope swing obstacle course, trampoline with flips, and other fun activities. They helped me set up AND clean up. When I asked if they needed help, they insisted that this is part of what I paid for. Each of the teachers was so nice and fun and this group of kindergarten aged kids had a blast. I would highly recommend this place for classes or your child's birthday. It is so worth the money and it will ease your stress as a parent. Thank you SBGC!

I'm her mother on there FOR HER SAFETY. There is way too large of an age range for "open gym" - groups of 16 yr old boys aggressively running around past my small 2 yr old just trying to cross a small obstacle course. The initiation fee is already a joke... $60 just for joining on top of the monthly $150... then less than 2 weeks after paying over $200 just to join you try to sneakily charge us $150 again?? And now when I try to call to talk to someone about all this your lines sound like you haven't paid your phone bill so I can't even speak to anyone??? I don't think I've ever come across a more poorly run business. I don't think I've ever been upset enough to leave a bad yelp review, but I certainly am now. And now, after reading all the other bad reviews of this business... including someone who discovered the owners dog bit their child and left a nasty bruise during a class and nobody told the parents... I'm just so sad a place like this exists. Please do not bring your children here.

We recently switched our daughter from Pacific Flips because we felt like we weren't a priority…read moresince we were not interested in competing! After attending for a year and nobody ever introducing themselves to us or even giving us updates on our daughter's progress we decided we'd give KTs a try before giving up... I'm so happy we made the switch as our experience here has been the complete opposite of Pacific Flips! Immediately upon signing up I felt like the entire staff has made effort to build a relationship with our daughter as with us as well! It's nice being greeted by name and getting updates after each class. The coaches all are passionate about what they do and you can tell by the way the interact with the kids. I love seeing my daughter challenged to learn new skills in a supportive and nurturing environment! My poor girl had been trying to learn how to do a cartwheel for the whole year at PF without any success, however after a week of being at KTs she was able to do it! The only thing different they did was get out this little mat that shows where to place her feet and hands and gave her praise and encouragement and boom she was doing cartwheels! The smile on her face was priceless! We've also had to switch days due to our schedule changing for the fall and they've been extremely flexible and accommodating! I really can't say enough good things about KTs! I'm so happy we made the move!

Been getting more and more upset with this place…read more When you first sign up you have to pay 35$ for shorts. We been going for a over a year and still haven't received any shorts. The teachers usually don't help the kids in the open area. I been watching for the past 5 classes and they don't assist kids that can't do bridges during warmups, and don't correct the stretches. Some teachers are better than others. The tall blonde teacher has always been kind, sweet and patient with the kids. There is a red headed teacher who is patient, and a male teacher with a beard who seems to know what he is doing. The other teachers have been seemingly ignore kids who are scared and shy, ignoring kids who are not exhibiting the proper technique [injury risk], and texting on their phone. This is all happening in the open viewing area. I have been recording times of class start time and end time. Typically they start on time at 4:00pm, but consist about 20 minutes of warm ups, and then the class and kids will be sitting ready to leave approximately 4:40pm. [The recorded times and assessment comes from the previous 5x classes] I want to like this place more, but some teachers are lazy and infuriating to watch. I have been taking more and more pictures and videos, time snaps, and notes if more information is needed.
