Their 'apewiches' are, hands down, the most flavorful sandwiches I have ever had in Germany (making me miss my favorite sandwich shop in the US). The 'salapes' are just as tasty and a really great value. You get to choose the combination of ingredients you'd like and can pretty much create a new salad every time you visit! I highly recommend the chicken sandwich, or whatever they have as a special. Or anything else. It's hard to see what the hype is about, though the packed shop makes me wonder if it was just an off night. That said, the service was poor, and the food lacked authenticity or creativity. It felt like yet another uninspired Vietnamese fusion spot in Germany, but without the great flavors Vietnamese food is known for. Two stars only because they do offer vegan and vegetarian options, but €65 for 3 appetizers and 2 entrees was far too much for what we got.
