Our friends recommended Glacial Ridge Vet for boarding our two 2 yr old Huskies. When I called to make reservations they were very accommodating and had space available. The next morning we dropped off the joys and Tracy was very pleasant and friendly. She helped us get checked in and even called our vet to get some vaccine certificates faxed over. Since I didn't have a copy she gave me one. When we came back the next day to pick the boys up Tracy again helped us with a smile and friendly attitude. I called Homestead Animal and was able to get an urgent appointment with Dr. Heidi, the relief vet. Dr. Heidi took care of the cat, provided him with pain relief, antibiotics and lots of fluids. Took the cat in the next day for a repeat of the fluids, and this time some steroids to help with the swelling of the mouth. On Friday it was apparent that the cancer was growing exponentially and I needed to euthanize him. It was the hardest decision ever, but the staff was kind and warm and made the process as easy as possible.

He sadly has a terminal illness,that the great Dr. quickly diagnosed.'MMM' is an autoimmune disease, affecting the dog's jaw muscle.I am presently giving him some meds, Prednisone.This has really made a huge difference.I am on borrowed time I know.
