Ok Prices are decent, $12.95 or $17.95 for tops, tanks, and plain t-shirts. There is a plethora of styles, jackets, and colors, but everything seems to be the same 2 sizes- The racks are jam packed full- there is plenty of store staff on the floor-NOT being helpful, just chatting with each other, even over heard a few of them bitching about customers... uh hello...We can hear you!?!? and then two people checking out at the register's; lines were SO long, and during a busy lunch break-waiting in line for 20 min to purchase two cheaply made tanks just pushed me over the edge. Two managers could see the long lines and did NOTHING about it. Poor Customer Service!!! I do not recommend shopping here during the week during the lunch rush. One of the tanks has already has the stitching coming out- so now I will be forced to return, maybe it will go better... read more

If cheap stylish clothing is your thing, this is a good place to go. Unfortunately, I'm too big for most of the clothing they carry. The staff at this place is non existent or they are gathered in groups chatting, which is fine seeing that I never need help. Their only seems to be one or teo people checkjng out customers, so prepare to wait in line awhile. If you're a tiny guy, there is a big selection. I'm in the high 220s and most of their xl is more like a medium, but there are some things that fit, just have to find that item. Overall, this place is allright. read more

Men's department was very clean and organized. I felt like I had a lot to choose from weather it be sake or normal priced items. Only reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because the whole time I was shopping two people were just hanging out talking not speaking to anybody. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! The employees were rushing around the store as if there werent even customers in the store. I tried to speak to an employee and was COMPLETELY IGNORED! I was in the store for almost an hour and not once did I see an employee ask anyone if they needed help or actually help a customer. The racks are so overstocked they are impossible to shop without clothes falling on the floor! They need to stop overstuffing the racks and try helping the people who pay their wages! read more

I have been here a few times and I like the clothing ok but prefer F21 upstairs. Unfortunately the staff was rude to my friend who needed to try on a few items when we were shopping and did not know they were closing. She just needed a minute to try a few shirts on or to find out if she could have them hold the items for her to come back the next day but nobody would help her which is too bad. I'd been wanting to visit an H&M after hearing about it for the last 12 years from my husband who shopped there when he lived in Germany for a couple of years. We did check out the H&M store in Vegas a few years ago but I was underwhelmed (or maybe overwhelmed) and hoped I'd like it more when I had more time to explore. I wandered in here the other day with a 35% coupon. I picked up a few things while walking around and kept losing interest and putting them down. I finally tried on a simple, cheap tank top but didn't like it and put it back. Right outside the dressing room on the way out, I noticed a cute striped tank dress so I just decided to buy it, mainly because I had the damn coupon and wanted to get out of the store and away from the chatty teenage employees who were in swarms everywhere. Plus it was just $12.95 ($9-ish with my coupon). I couldn't find the dress in my size so I grabbed the smallest one, a 4, and checked out without trying it on. I had heard that sizing runs extremely small so I figured it might work. I got home and put it on and it was skin tight! I had visions of Julia Roberts in one of her early movies where she wore a wig...all I needed were the tall boots. I think what bummed me out the most is that many of the items are decently cheap, but look cheap on the hangers. A few dresses I picked up had stitching mistakes and loose threads, uneven hems, etc. I'm already used to paying super low prices for clothes because I'm a psycho bargain hunter, but generally on things that are originally priced much higher, and therefore have at least the appearance of being higher quality. I'd rather pay $20 for a $70 sweater from J.Crew because I know from experience that it will last a long time, instead of paying $20 for a shoddily contructed garment. If I'm patient, I can get a $200+ cocktail dress for $50 or less, not the one-wear-only dresses I saw at H&M. Or maybe I'm just a sucker when I see a highly-marked up original price tag LOL. That being said, there are probably plenty of people who enjoy shopping here for the inexpensive Forever-21-esque stuff including shoes, hats, accessories, workout wear, party dresses and a lot of other trendy, cheap things. I also appreciated that the music wasn't crazy loud and club-thumping as it is in F21. read more

I am so surprised by the ratings on this location! I can't complain about the parking because I live on 18th Street just two blocks from the store... Nor can I complain about the store's lack of sitting areas... But I can say that rating them lower for either of the above reasons is a low-blow... Shopping is not for loitering/sitting in the store - there is plenty of outdoor seating around the Pavilions for this... that actually just causes traffic within the store so I am glad they lack benches. And I doubt anyone came to 16th Street solely to shop at H&M... and if you did, find a meter two blocks up the street and pay by the half hour. It's not H&M's responsibility to find its customers parking! I'm sure they're are given a rent and space mandated by 16th Street Pavilions and I don't feel they should lose money because people are too lazy to walk to the store from a metered spot.. Plus - if they did that, their prices would go up and I'm pretty sure all H&M shoppers shop for the prices! ;) Moving onto the reason i am writing this review... there is a male sales associate at this location named David. He is freaking amazing. He didn't do anything special for me and I didn't have any extra-curricular conversations to make me feel this way either. It was simply my observation of his overall willingness and enthusiasm to serve the consumers! While my fiance was out of town, I shopped at this location and he was my go-to-guy along with four other girl's go-to-guy... even shoppers with Friends & Family with them still asked for David's help, opinion, advice, etc! Secondly, this store is uber clean and well organized! Super impressed with the Children's section along with the Maternity section and I am not even pregnant or have kids! It's just a nice touch! Lastly, my one not-so-fantastic experience at this H&M due to the Manager's inability to gauge the number of shoppers ready the check-out. It was near closing time and as I was approaching the upper level register, the Manager came through and told the sales associate that the shopper he was ringing would be his last for the night. I was literally two steps away from the line and he still directed me to the other register on the lower level.... There were also three other shoppers behind me, approaching the line... I presume she did this to close on time but seriously? Creating a MASSIVE line at the lower level register did not get ANYONE out on time... I've been to H & M several times. The quality of the clothing is suspect. They don't even press the clothes. This place reminds me of the $10 clothing stores I used to see in NYC in the '90's. The styles are decent and current, but, the clothing might as well be made of paper. It's what I call "disposable clothing" because they last as long as a paper towel. I came, I went, I saw....I didn't know what to expect. I've heard some of ladies I know mention H&M before, I've checked out stuff online, and I really didn't know what I was in for. I waited in line last night for about an hour, maybe a little more in the freezing cold. Finally, once in the store I didn't know which way to go, so I started towards the right and made my way to the second floor. Throughout my shopping adventure I found myself saying....well this is hideous or yep, another article of clothing that is already falling apart. Everyone to me described H&M is a better quality Forever 21 with similar pricing. I found the quality about the same. Many shirts I found were frayed or had little holes. That said, I'm not a huge Forever 21 fan except for accessories and "fun" clothes that I can wear to shows. Don't even get me started on the sizing. I wear a 10 or 12, and clearly some of the 10 or 12 sizes at H&M are 6 or 8. Whoa! I tried on a mini skirt and it didn't cover much more than underwear. I'm sorry, but not all woman are 5'5"....some of us are tall (5'9" here). Staff was clearly exhausted, and didn't have enough people to help everyone that needed help. Everyone seemed nice though. I didn't even attempt the fitting room as the line was incredibly long. I hated that the first floor check out area was in the accessories area, as I completely missed this part, but refused to lose my place in the check out line from hell. What did I buy - 2 shirts and one fake leather dress. I'm probably taking the dress back, because upon trying it on the seams aren't straight (another quality issue). Would I shop there again? Likely, for something cheap for a show or an event. Would I stand in line for this place ever again - HELL NO! The best part of the whole shopping experience was the very cool Versace for H&M bag they put my stuff in. The bag is gorgeous as far as bags go, and this was honestly the highlight of my trip. Having been to H&M stores in London I was skeptical of the Denver store but was pleasantly surprised when I found that is was up to par with my European experiences! I love their clothes, I know some people hate on them for being cheap, and yeah, it's cheap stuff but I'm on a budget here people! The place is always packed and expect long lines for the dressing rooms and cashiers. Better yet, go once, try on everything for size and then make a note of the sizes so you don't ever have to go back in the dressing room on your next visit! I usually buy what I want without trying it on and then return what ends up not fitting. Their return policy is good, 30 days with a receipt. I am so glad Denver was finally deemed chic enough to garner an H&M, now if our citizens would just learn how to wear the items properly to avoid fashion faux pas. read more

Love the store, love the idea of it, even love some of the clothing. Hate.....the size of the men's department! You cant look at anything in the department without knocking something else off it's hook or hanger. After a few minutes it's becomes frustrating. But the bargains are worth the hassle I guess. As a college student I love H&M clothing since it's both affordable and stylish; however, this H&M is absolutely the WORST clothing store I have ever been to. The floor models are extremely rude, long lines all the time, the clothing is always disorganized, and they don't even sell the clothing they display on the mannequins. I was treated like a criminal in retuning a shirt that smelt like fabric softener, never washed, tried on and didn't like the fit. In addition to the return, I was adding $100 in clothing to a new purchase. Also, this shirt was a part of a $250 purchase to begin with. Because of the managers "smell-o-meter" H&M will be losing my business, a very small fraction, but none the less, I will advise others to always try it on before taking it home. Sadly, I'm sure this return policy of cloths smelling like fabric softener will eventually be obsolete given the disadvantage it gives H&M compared to similar retailers. read more

My biggest struggle is finding clothes that are not only unique or stylish, but have them in my size without having to go to the kids section. Any other store with a men's selection would at the very least have medium sized clothing that is a blanket on me. At this store - not an issue. Worst shopping experience ever. Staff was standing around gossiping. No one was willing to help. My 8 yr old and my wife asked to try on clothes at the fitting room and the guy told them they could come back tomorrow as they were going to be closing??? Really??? My 6 year old was needing to use the bathroom and was told she could go up the street.. The staff is so lazy and not customer oriented at all. I would strongly suggest either closing the store or find a Manager. The registers continue to beep while you wait in line because the associate refuses to take off the sensors until you have completed the transaction and are ready to take your purchase and leave.. WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! I just had the worst Experience in this store. I nicely asked one of the cashiers ( a girl with shorter hair) working on 12/2 around 8:30pm to put two pants on hold for me. She agreed to do so with the agreement that I would come back today to pick them up. I sent someone else today to get the pants for me but when they asked for it, all of the representatives said they had nothing on hold under my name. I've always liked this H&M store and thought they had a good customer service but after what that lady did to me, I can no longer continue thinking that. If you're not going to put something on hold for a customer, please don't tell them you're going to do so. read more

Great to see more clothing stores in downtown Denver. I stopped by just to check out the men's section. Not amazing, but not bad. They have the basics covered and the pricing is reasonable. H&M is the house brand, much like the GAP I suppose, and some things look like cheap knock-offs, but other items looked respectable and unique enough to make an entire outfit work. Like the store brand blue blazer in a European cut for next to nothing or an interesting color selection of stretch cotton polo shirts. I did not have a lot of success in finding anything this trip, but this store will now be on my radar for future shopping expeditions. H&M is a welcomed addition to the sixteenth street mall. read more

I was visiting Denver and had a bit of time to kill before catching my shuttle to the airport so I decided to stop in. H&M serves up affordable, fast fashion. They are good about keeping up with trends, but of course that means alot of items will be out of style soon. That doesn't bother me. The store was stocked well. They had a sale and I was able to score some awesome shorts for $3.50. What?! You have a month to get any refunds. After 30 days, you can get a merchandise credit. read more

While I am so glad we finally have H&M here, I kind of feel like this store can be a bit chaotic at times. Maybe it's because of the location on the 16th St Mall, but the place is always packed, I always have a hard time finding my size and you can guaranty that there will be a line for the fitting room and to check out. I went to visit this store today (Tues afternoon - 5 days after it opened). I have been to/lived in Europe so I am very familiar with the company. I don't love the setup at this one. The first floor cashier is in part of the accessories section so looking at stuff caused me to have to squeeze through the line. I waited over ten minutes to try on clothes. My brother and I had to stop in and buy a shirt for him to wear on our way to a festival downtown. I found an amazing shirt on a manikin in the store display window and asked an H&M associate named Sam if he knew where I could find the shirt in the store. Sam went above and beyond by searching for the shirt. The only shirts he could find were in a smaller size than what my brother needed. Sam grabbed the shirt off of the manikin and offered it to my brother. Sam has excellent customer service, he was positive and well versed in interpersonal relations. I shopped in your store twice last week and on both occasions, I was barely acknowledged as I approached the register to pay for my items. I shopped at this store for maternity clothes. First, as an expectant mother, I often need the restroom. I asked when I arrived where the restroom is and was coldly told by an associate that it is outside the store. Only when I asked for her to point me to it, did she give me the key code I would need to use it. I walked to the other side of the mall for the restroom to find that it was closed. I then had to walk to a restaurant and buy something just to use the restroom. You would think that a three story retail store would provide the convenience of a restroom to their customers. After I finally made it back to shop, I searched all three floors for the maternity section. after looking (and not finding any workers to ask), I finally found a couple of workers and had to stand and wait as they discussed their evening plans before I finally had the chance to ask to be directed to maternity wear. I was directed back to the third floor (note that the sign for the third floor states that it has "kids & Home" items, NOT maternity. After walking back up to the top floor yet again, I finally found the very small section sandwiched in between boys and infants. As a new mom having to replace a wardrobe, I chose a lot of items to try on. I then searched for a dressing room, only to be told that they don't have one up here. You have to go to 1st or second floor to try on any clothes. This is crazy! Whose idea was it to put maternity wear upstairs where there are no other adult clothes, no fitting rooms, no restrooms and no one in sight to help you!?! It's not a big section and could easily fit somewhere else in the store. If I wasn't already there and hadn't already spent an hour just trying to find clothes, I would have left then. The dressing room attendant was the only person there who was remotely helpful. But after trying on, I had to truck upstairs yet again to change a few things and then search for someone to check me out. He was less than friendly. The entire experience left me aggravated and exhausted and not nearly as fond of H&M. I will not be back! I strongly urge H&M to think about their customers and to move the maternity wear to a more easily accessible area. I also urge them to add a restroom for paying customers. If that was difficult for me, I can't imagine taking a toddler there because heaven forbid she would need to use the restroom! read more
