Kate took the time to get to know us. She had us walk through what was important to us to have captured on our wedding day. It was not really something that we had thought to articulate ourselves, but Kate made it easy by showing us example photos and having us describe what we liked about each one. Kate worked with us to create a very detailed and easy to follow timeline for our wedding day. Family and wedding party photos were a breeze, because she had organized the order in which each member would be added and removed from the photos. We had a 20 person bridal party plus a lot of extended family getting ready with us. Come the morning of the wedding when Kate arrives to the bridal suite, she circles all of my bridesmaids and family members up and goes around the room to learn every persons name. Incredibly, she memorized them all and used them throughout the entire day to help give directions. She truly became part of our family that day. She was great at being able to round up our big, crazy families. Everyone loved her. Being the center of attention can be intimidating. Kate helped relieve some of that pressure by being so stealthy and out of the way when photographing the day. I often forgot I was being photographed, which helped me be able to be myself and not feel like I was being watched by a camera. She and her second shooter, Kat, caught the most memorable candid moments because of that. I must also add that Kate dove herself into the dance floor to capture my brother and husband dancing together. We are so grateful to have had her on our wedding day. When our photos were finally ready to be revealed, Kate didn't just send us an email; she had us come to her office to relive the day together. We got to go through every photo together up on her large TV screen and create our wedding album. She gave us over 1,200 photos and had them all carefully organized in albums. She had also drafted 50 pages for us for our wedding album-- something that would have been quite daunting to try to put together on our own. Together, we created the wedding album of our dreams. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Bridgette is! I have had three sessions with her…read morenow for photos of my husband and I and have been absolutely thrilled with the results each time. Last week we completed a couples session for maternity photos and they are better than I ever had envisioned. I talked to Bridgette in the weeks leading up to the photos about what to wear, florist recommendations, location selection, etc. She is always friendly and quick to respond. When we decided on a location that she had not shot before, she even went out the week before to scout to make sure I'd be able to make it in my long dress at 6 months pregnant. Brigette is professional but also so much fun to be around! She makes photo sessions so relaxing and just a fun experience for people who are not completely comfortable in front of the camera. She plays music, jokes around, and gives suggestions on poses throughout the session so you get a good variety of shots and it doesn't feel so awkward. This girl is adventurous! I love that I was able to give her my vision and she found the perfect location, hiked through a foot of snow for almost 2 miles, climbed on rocks, and did whatever it took to get the most amazing shots I have ever seen! In previous sessions we have traipsed around a field around snake and gopher holes, and even shot in active snowfall with 2 1/2 feet on the ground already. Her work is always consistent, so you can feel confident booking her that you are going to get beautiful photos that will complement your style for years to come. Her editing is flawless, so things like a giant zit on your chin the day of the shoot don't need to be a huge concern. Bridgette is amazing and will be my go-to photographer for my family for many years to come I'm sure!

I had always wanted to do a boudoir photo shoot for someone special one day. A wedding gift to my…read morenew husband seemed to be most appropriate. But the question was who would I be comfortable with enough to be that exposed in front of?! I've known Ashely since high school. But even so, was still quite nervous for the whole naked part. Ashely had prepared a fruit plate for snacking and had both a bottle of red and white to help calm my nerves. Before I knew it outfit changes were happening and we were cracking jokes. I was completely comfortable and she made me feel absolutely beautiful. Now that I've had the experience- I know that my boudoir shoot was just as much for myself as it was my husband. She also did our wedding.. Our wedding day was the day we had always imagined, and we will forever be able to look over our photos and feel the love and joy we felt that day. Ashely showed up early with all the girls getting ready at the salon, and continued taking pictures at the farm before, during and after the ceremony and reception. My husband said he loved that Ashely gave us directions during the group photos. He mostly loved that all evening pictures were being taken and we had no idea. Shortly after the speeches, Ashely quickly grabbed Jon and myself and said "I'm so sorry but the lighting is too perfect. We need a dip kiss picture". It is our favorite photo of the evening! They captured every emotion and memory of that day for us. Myself and my family will forever use Ashely for our most precious moments.
