Their clothes, Halloween costumes and swimsuits are of great quality but a bit "pricey" if you are use to buying your clothes at Pretty Girl in Fordham or Conway. They always have really good sales, I just got 2 pairs of $98 jeans for less than $16. Just wait for sales and use coupons and you will be ok. I used to do all my shopping online because the closest store was in NJ but now that one a Torrid store is open in the Bronx I will be shopping there more often. This store can't close, there's lots of "Plus Size" stores out there but this sell plus size clothing that is fun for young plus size women, I might not be "young" in years but in my heart I am and I love their style as long I know what I can pull off at my age. I just learn that shopping at Torrid online and sending the package to be picked up at the store is more economical than having it delivered at home, Torrid don't have a set shipping rate and I saved $32 in shipping which I spend in 2 items in the store that wasn't available online. I have always loved shopping at Torrid and I am excited they have a store in the Bronx, it would have been preferable if it would have been in the city but traveling all the way to Bay Plaza wasn't so bad.

I knew from the community shared initial floor plans and development pictures that the store would be spacious and very modern but, they took the cake! The sleek design, and organization of the store makes it easy to navigate and find your gender and age zones, while still being able to navigate easily from adults to kids. New technology allows you to self checkout, with the help of staff, where you place your items on a weighted scale and the register automatically rings up your items without having to scan each item. Very cool. I haven't seen that technology anywhere else. Given the huge space, there is a wide variety of selection of items and the perfume section is heavenly and beautifully displayed.

I spent about 30 minutes there quietly using my phone while they continued shopping. At approximately 8:20 PM, a security guard approached me and told me that the store would be closing in 10 minutes. Naturally, I understood that to mean the store was closing at 8:30 PM. Wanting to make sure my family had enough time to complete their purchases, I called my wife and told her to wrap things up, pay for the items, and meet me outside. I then left the store and waited for them outside. However, because of the long checkout line, my wife and daughter were still inside around 8:40 PM. While waiting, I noticed that customers were continuing to enter the store and that the same security guard was not stopping them. That's when I realized the store was actually scheduled to close at 9:00 PM on Saturdays, not 8:30 PM. Confused, I approached the security guard and asked, "Didn't you tell me 20 minutes ago that the store was closing in 10 minutes?" I was genuinely trying to understand the situation. Rather than providing an explanation, he repeatedly said, "Excuse me." Not understanding what he meant, I responded, "Yes?" expecting him to answer my question. Instead, he replied that when he says "excuse me," it means I should get out of his way so he can continue doing his job. At that point, the issue became much bigger than a misunderstanding about store hours. First, I was given inaccurate information that caused me to leave the store unnecessarily. Then, when I politely asked for clarification, I was met with a dismissive and rude attitude. What makes this even more frustrating is that if the security guard felt I had been sitting in the store too long, he could have simply approached me and politely explained that seating was intended for customers actively shopping, or asked me to wait outside. I would have gladly complied. I am a respectful person and would have had no issue with a reasonable request. Instead, I was misled about the store closing time and then treated disrespectfully when I sought clarification. My wife and daughter eventually came out excited about all the items they had purchased, but after what had happened, I told them we would be returning everything and taking our business elsewhere. This interaction turned what should have been a pleasant family shopping trip into one of the worst retail experiences I have had. Zara should ensure that employees and contracted security personnel provide accurate information to customers and treat them with professionalism and respect.

It's usually hit or miss when browsing at any Marshalls but sometimes you hit the jackpot as I found a pair of casual dress pants and skeechers slip on for both under 50 bucks . Folks have no respect as they make a mess and make it harder to find stuff but keep looking and you will find it . Line to checkout was moving fast and the annoying screaming brats made my wait time on line seem forever . I'm not sure what a…read morelot of the negative reviews are about nasty staff members but my experience was the opposite. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed. I went straight to the line as I was only getting gift cards. If anyone was nasty and standoffish, it would be the other customers pushing past me without saying excuse me but the staff was great. When it was my turn at the register the cashier was great.. she was smiley and bubbly and just gave off positive energy. There were only 2 cashiers but the line still moved quickly. I was in and out within 12 minutes.
