Rob was assigned to our floor replacement through our insurance. A dear friend had died and left…read morethe house a mess. All the floors needed to be replaced. Rob was so very helpful. This was a very stressful time for us and he made it all so much easier. He bought confidence and ease. I went from feeling overwhelmed to relaxed. Everything was done in a timely manner and under budget.

I bought a house and found some evidence of minor water damage while renovating a room so I had it…read moretested for mold. That came back clean but there was moisture in the walls that should not have been there in the middle of a summer heatwave. Redwood Restoration was the second mold contractor I scheduled for a consult. Zac was incredibly helpful. He read the report from Air Environmental before his visit and rechecked all of the spots that had tested positive for moisture. He checked the wall section I had opened to investigate and found wetness from the recent rains. He clearly explained how mold grows, what kills it and what does not, and exactly how Redwood Restoration would mitigate the problem while giving me a rough quote. He then checked all potential sources of water intrusion in the whole house with me and sent me two quotes: one for the room and one to address an issue in the basement to prevent mold from growing. He spent over an hour there and gave me a number of tips to doing unrelated projects on the house. I found Zac passionate for what he does and honest. I'm glad I called Redwood Restoration.

A huge recommendation to Gustavo Guzman and his family. They completed laying LVP, baseboards and…read moresome carpet in our home, while we were living it, no small task. They were very methodical about how they approached it so that we had access to sleeping areas, kitchen, etc., before they left at the end of the day.Their experience was quite evident, I never worried that they were doing sub- par work. They arrived on time, worked together as a team and got it all done ahead of time. We had a moisture problem too that they had to deal with, very tricky but again they are experienced and did what needed to be done. we're happy with how it was laid, no worries about repeating patterns close to eachother. They're great communicators, worked hard, all with smiles and a sense of humor. Allen at the Floor Store was great too. We went in wanting a Cortec product, he also showed us alternative brands that he felt were good too. We never felt pressured to purchase just Cortec. he worked with us for about six months before we finally purchased, we never felt any pressure to hurry up. Matt & Margie W.

Francine is one of the least helpful salespeople I've ever encountered. From the moment we entered…read morethe store, it was difficult to get her attention. Once we connected, we were upfront about our budget, but she repeatedly steered us toward higher priced options and was not transparent about individual product costs. She encouraged us to apply for store credit through Wells Fargo, and I was approved for significantly more than the cost of the flooring we were considering (probably a red flag warning that they will attempt to take you for more than you want to spend). Later that week, she came to our home for a site assessment. While friendly during the visit, she remained vague about installation costs. As she left, she promised to email a detailed quote within a day or two. After a full week with no word, I had to follow up. She responded several hours later with an estimate. The product pricing stayed within what we discussed, but the labor portion was estimated, but listed as "variable," with no fixed amount or not-to-exceed" number. Additionally, she couldn't even guarantee the final cost or confirm they could complete the job. As a contractor myself (in IT), I'm accustomed to providing customers with clear, capped pricing and a promise we will complete the work before they commit, especially on installation work. Its not as if I was hiding anything from her. She had full access to the home for her assessment. If she lacked expertise to properly evaluate the job, they should have sent a more qualified person. This lack of clarity made it impossible to move forward with confidence. After sending the quote, she never followed up and I haven't spoken to her since. Overall, Francine came across as inattentive, inexperienced and unreliable. We ended up purchasing our flooring elsewhere, and based on this experience, I would recommend doing the same.
