My parents had accounts here for over 20 years. They were elderly and I had to stay helping them…read morewith their banking. A few times they were confused about when their social security went in and overdrew their account. Since there was no online banking I started calling to assure that funds were available before mom paid bills. I have never been treated poorly by someone in a professional setting until this credit union. I had no choice but to call and ask if a few things had cleared every month or so in order to pay their bills(they are retired and living paycheck to paycheck). I put up with it for aver a year and finally decided to move to another bank. Best decision ever. I'm not sure why the employee that I dealt with treated me so poorly. My parents always paid their bills on time and their loans through Peoples Choice like clockwork, never late. Fast forward 3 years later. My daughter used this business to buy her first car. Against my better judgement. She is also being treated like she is stupid. I guess somethings never change. It is really sad that my daughters first experience with an auto loan has turned out this way. Never again.

If I could I would give this company zero stars. I have spent three years trying to fix mistakes…read moremade by multiple tax preparers in several NYC locations. The issues stemmed from the preparers in this company completely failing to figure out my local taxes for approx 8 years. When the issue was brought to my attention by a collection agency it took five tax preparers and over three years to correct the issue. I paid for the peace of mind program and believed in their guarantee to pay/reimburse me for any mistakes made by their preparers. After writing several letters to the CEO and having my case reviewed by the complaint department they still did not reimburse me for the taxes or penalties I had to pay years later. They reimbursed the fees I paid for tax preparation and basically told me I needed to be satisfied with that. This company does not honor their guarantee or the peace of mind commitment. I believe this is fraud. I strongly advise everyone to not rely on H&R Block and use a different company or accountant.
