Wonderful man with awesome knowledge. Roughly 3 or 4 years ago he retired and change came upon all of us who relied on the friendliness and professionalism this company provided. My wife and I were still clients and our tax preparer moved. No notice from him or from the company here in Carson. I called the office no less than 5 times this past 2 weeks and got one return phone call with no information. The message left on my phone was curt and short with a slammed receiver at the end. Very unprofessional and angry. Not happy at all. Big change from the personal service we were used to getting. Not happy at all. Without a call back getting us an appointment with either Luanne or anyone else working for Sierra Financial we will seek other options. Terrible way to do business....But like I said change is inevitable. Glad to have had my business for the years I had.

Money Tree is the "Quickie Mart" of banks! Its not a bank, but they do many of the same things a…read morebank does! Cash checks, issue money orders, wire money, and do payday loans. What I love is when you buy money orders they give you free postage stamps! They also sell them too. Which is nice so I dont have to make a trip to the post office! You dont need a checking account to get a payday loan from here, just a job, and check stubs. Also no credit check. You can walk in broke and come out with cash in about 10 minutes! I can't remember exactly but I believe when you repay the loan, your paying back $20 on every $100 you borrowed. They also start you out with like a $200 limit on the loan, but after you borrow a few times and replay in a timely manner they will increase your borrowing power. If you have to extend the loan you can, but it will cost ya! Payday loans are NOT a wise thing to do, because it so expensive, but its nice to have this ace up your sleeve in case you do need some quick cash in a hurry. You never know when you will find a shoe sale and isnt it always when your broke - from the last shoe sale?? HAHAHA :) The staff at this location and the one on Clear Acre are all VERY nice, efficient, and know their jobs. They are really cool people. If you go in very much they will know your name by the 5th time you visit and for some strange human reason --- that just feels good.

Sonia refused to speak to us at all as my name JAMES WATSON JR. was not on dads policy. We got a letter from DMV that dads insurance had lapsed and we would be fined $750 if we did not have insurance on his 3 cars. We called 3 more times and asked for John to call us back. He NEVER called. We called in JANUARY 2021 to tell him we closed escrow on dads house and to cancel his homeowners. We left ANOTHER voice mail, but no call back AGAIN!!!!
