I constantly had to follow up for updates, and even then, progress remained unclear. Although the firm markets itself under Dimov, my return was handled by someone else entirely, with no clear ownership or accountability. More concerning, I was asked to pay based on incomplete, placeholder estimates before critical items like CA Form 592-B credits and depreciation were finalized. On top of that, I was required to sign a liability waiver before they would even proceed--essentially shifting all risk to the client. For a paid tax service, this level of disorganization, lack of transparency, and risk transfer is unacceptable. I would not recommend this firm.

After 1 months, I found myself calling her everyday to see when she would be able to start. I said I could pay her up front and meet her at her office. We had already agreed on a set price for her to finish my taxes. After 3 weeks she told me she would do the first year of taxes. After 2 more weeks of broken promises, she said she was too busy to even start. 2 months down the road, I have not received a phone call in 3 weeks and now I will have to pay daily fines for my taxes which Arlene said she filed an extension for. I just wish some businesses could be honest up front and communicate effectively with their clients. I filed with Arlene a few years ago and she never even told me to come in and sign my paper work. I never even received a call from her or anyone regarding my taxes. Come to find out, I had a refund $1809.00 which Arlene told me a couple months ago. I was and am beyond upset and stressed out because, as I've tried to convey multiple times, I can't afford to have any issues with the IRS or local govt since I am a federal employee and one with a high level security clearance. Moreover, I can't afford any penalties, so I went ahead and made the payments yesterday directly. I spent my entire morning making calls - being transferred and on hold - all to pay money that had been sitting ready to be collected since April 15th. I had to spend my entire morning, by myself, while at work, doing the research to figure out what happened and why the money had not yet been collected. I even had to pay penalties and fees that I've now been accessed unnecessarily only to speak with you after all that and be treated in such a dismissive and demeaning way. And for you be come out and say this was my fault is Outrageous!! Again, I am a federal employee, and with all that is going on in/with the federal government, you don't think I know the stakes for me? You don't think I know my own bank account number? I know and tried to stress to you that it is imperative that my taxes are filed and paid, if owed, properly. Your stance of cutting me off and implying that the increased anxiety I'm feeling, which has been super induced by this situation, is unwarranted, is beyond insensitive, and just plain rude and disgusting. I've never been treated in such a way or dismissed by anyone I paid for a service! I am incredibly offended, and to be honest, utterly surprised! To blame me on top of everything; I can't understand how you would even think to treat a customer that way and a first-time customer at that! You added insult to inquiry in a way I never would imagine, but you did, and it's not okay or appreciated. Mistakes happened, but you started pointing fingers before trying to look into anything when you, yourself, began by making a number of them during our appointment. I had to slow you down several times to point out and correct numbers you entered incorrectly as we went through my return. You even riped up my 2023 tax return that wasn't prepared by you as you rushed through. You were over an hour late for my scheduled appointment without giving me any notice that could possibly be the case. You were short and in many ways rude in the things you said to me, but I dealt with it all, which was a lot for me, especially as a new customer meeting you for the first time. Before I made the appointment, I attempted to call you to discuss my situation. I tried to explain that I am the sole caregiver for my mother and tried to explain why timing was important and certain things regarding the return, nonetheless I had to make provisions for someone to see after my mother since I was over two hours plus late getting back to her. Again, Donna, I dealt with all of it and didn't complain when I should have! All this, especially from my perspective as a customer just meeting you, has been a lot to deal with, but I have. And now, you blame me and tell me your error is my fault, leave me to track down what's going on, blame everyone under the sun yet take none of your own, leave me to pay all the penalties as if you had no part in it, and pay you too - that's too far for anyone! You wouldn't accept this kind of treatment yourself or for your family!!! I was referred to you by a coworker and friend, Donzell Fxxxxx, as someone who was reputable and valued their customers, but for the life of me I can't understand why I haven't been treated that way!
