My tax preparer woz Ms. Banks and the store manager is Ms. May's, this year i decided to fill out my taxes (2020) at this location (83 W. Merrick Rd, Freeport N.Y. 11520 Big mistake!!! Now I am going to try to break down the story as best as I can, I filed my taxes on February 5th of 2020 I did not receive my taxes until December of 2020. Now mind you February of 2020 there was no covid-19 cases / epidemic going on at the time here in Long Island, N.Y.. So February of 2020 came and left March of 2020 came and left still no refund. In April of 2020 is when we started experiencing shutdowns and so forth. This location kept trying to insult my intelligence even after the fact that I was told it would take on the 21 days for me to receive my money's from the date of filing in my case 02.05.2020. Mind you I've been filling my taxes since I've been 15 years old, I'll be 41 in September never in my life have I have experience such incompetence and unprofessionalism. Here's the sweet part after a couple of times I noticed that I had to record my interactions not only voice recordings but also video recording and you should see the stories that I get that are outrages. I have a manager who's one of representative of Liberty Tax Service V. May's lie to my face knowing very well that I was recording her. I have had to hire council to deal with this Appropriate behaviour nonetheless very Unethical and outrageous behaviour. I/We are trusting these people to file federal documents on our behalf thats the sad part because they don't know what their doing. I have my proof I hope they have theirs and not letting this go and I urge anyone that is thinking about filing their taxes at any location that has to do with Liberty Tax Service stay clear From these ridiculous shenanigans they call a tax preparation office.
