On tax day we had heard no news of our tax status. When I called they explained she had filed an extension and we'd hear by late April or the first week in March. Frustrating, especially given that this was news to us on fling day! It is now May 24th and our taxes are STILL not done. The only communication has been when I have called to inquiry on our status. I have also never received a response to the emails I have sent to Jan, although the secretary on the phone has confirmed they've been received. HORRIBLE SERVICE and COMMUNICATION. I am still waiting and wondering what is going on...

The brother did not know how either so they were to either 1. figure out how to reverse the charge or 2. send me a check. Neither happened and the charge went through anyway putting me in serious financial problems which I told them would happen. When I confronted the secretary asking why they chose not to do anything she said 'I told the other brother' who is her husband and my accountant. He claimed to know nothing about it and she could not even locate my taxes. My primary issues - no follow through a return phone call or email = poor customer service. The secretary's reason - I passed it to 'him' and assumed it was taken care of because I don't deal with those things. No one was willing to accept responsibility and NO ONE apologized.

Stunning levels of incompetence. Regularly failed to make filings on time, causing us to get in…read moretrouble with the Oregon government and costing us fines and fees. Sent out our 1099s using the WRONG ACCOUNT - our Independent Contractors all received 1099s with the employer listed as a veterinary service. Sent out incorrect w2s. All while charging EXORBITANT fees beyond what was agreed to. Whenever we caught them in a mistake, they would make excuses, blaming the state, or us, or "we never got that password." According to the state a significant amount of the paperwork they filed for us was incorrect and we owe a lot of money. The state also said that the company could have gained access to everything they said they "couldn't do" with one phone call to them. Fraud? Incompetence? You decide. Just stay far away if you need a bookkeeper.
